growing up in Canada (and as far as I know this is also generally how it's used in Europe) we treated "lego" as a collective like "rice" or "water". every time I hear someone say they're "playing with legos" it sounds like "eating a bowl of rices".

one thing i really love about my (and dan and phil’s generation is that we aren’t doing the thing as much where you act like you can’t be silly and playful and like “childish” things or dress a certain way at a certain age. like i was told that i needed to dye my hair and wear fun clothes while i was young because at a certain age you can’t do that. i just love seeing dan and phil be themselves regardless of age!
