I like to headcanon that part of the reason Port Puerto is named that is because the pirates were generally more fluent in one language and the aristocrats the other. Maybe it was a running joke at some point to use both words, and then it kinda stuck.

I think that in their world it would be more akin to a very distinct dialect, or maybe just a lingua franca with a large percentage of the same language the aristocrats use. Like to the aristocrats it's *mostly* their language but theres pronunciation differences and a lot of borrowed words/phrases. Maybe when the pescados came into power they had it recognized officially.

One of the greats

I love Fantasy Life. It might be my favorite game on the 3DS, and definitely one of my favorite games of all time. The game brings me insane amounts of joy; going back to it feels like coming home to a familiar cozy place of rest. It’s such a sleepy and peaceful game. 

The Era of 3DS is long over. Level-5 has closed its doors to the west. The sequel has moved in a different direction than the original that so many people have grown to love. But none of that will change what a great game Fantasy Life is, what memories I have with it, and what memories I have yet to create.

Fantasy Life - Mt. Snowpeak

This area has so many neat nooks and cranny’s to explore. From the bowels of the mountain, all the way to the snow capped peak, the variety here is satisfying. One of my favorite areas in the game.
