Calling all Mr. Hat fans!

Mr. Hat is Trucy’s first-ever assistant! He helps her pull off her first show without a hitch and make her way to being a famous magician!

Trucy’s has him for over ten years at this point, so he’s a huge constant in her life. He’s kinda like the longest-running member of her family, in a way! And she keeps using him in tricks even when she gets famous!

Another interesting aspect of Mr. Hat comes up if you pay attention to his design. He’s a tall guy (puppet guy?) with a mustache, a red cape, a suit, and a bow tie. Who does he look like?

Yep, I’m pretty sure that’s on purpose in universe, not only for the disappearing act, but also just generally for Trucy’s emotional support? She made her puppet look like her bio dad, and Mr. Hat has always been there for her even when Zak left. She’ll always have somebody from her Gramarye life.
