Random, possibly obnoxious thought hour When someone says they're in the fandom as opposed to saying they're just a fan, imma assume they're not just a casual fan. To me being deep in the fandom means intentionally searching for and interacting with fan-made content of the media, rather than just having it show up frequently on your feed and making you aware of what's up in the fandom via osmosis or something. Downright obsession is where you literally can't stop thinking about it and make everything you do/ say/ hear connected to said media. On what basis did i make this on? i don't f know but i will say that while I'm a fan of many things, there are a select few where I spent a decent chunk of time combing thru ao3 for fics about a specific thing that happens in it
