I don't think you all are very interested in the World Cup, but im sure you all are into Avatar drawings (especially Zutara). I drew them on the stickers in this year's album.
I also did the rest, I just wanted to point out that they have the colors of each other's nations, hehe.

I swear, I swear I tried HARD to be that "neutral" part of the fandom that everyone exclaims is the best instead of getting involved in unnecessary drama.
The only way to be neutral in this damn fandom is to not like Zutara and being indifferent to Kataang, because otherwise, you'll get eaten alive.
I couldn't go into any KA video that I found cute because there would be a group of annoying rats announcing to everyone how much they dislike ZK and how KA is a thousand times superior; imagine liking both, liking ZK more than the other, seeing a funny KA video and wanting to see the comments, only to see a whole debate section about why the Zutarians should be executed.
Every time I tried to interact with the KA part of the fandom, all you could see were comments insulting your ship, and incidentally, insulting those who ship it (that is, including you).
Convincing yourself that maybe Zutara shippers are probably a toxic community and you decide to be "the cool one" or "the exception", and not make a fucking difference because the problem they had was not the intensity or toxicity of the community that they complain so much about, they are simply pissed off that you don't prefer their ship.
"If you ship Zutara, you are a <r word>"
"If you ship Zutara, I automatically hate you"
"If you ship Zutara, you hate Katara"
And the list goes on and on.
And already tired, you decide to explore that toxic community that everyone talks about, only to discover that Zutarians are only as atrocious as they are described, when you try to insult a whole group of people without any consequences.
Imagine entering that community, believing they are just like the other ones and realizing that no matter what ships you show them, no matter what opinion you give, no matter what criticism you offer, they won't jump on you to make you retract your words. If they know you messed up, they'll give you a gentle pat and explain why the stupid thing you said was wrong, without insults or mockery. Just a community that accepts you as part of it and offers you charity and constructive support.
I have never had a problem with a Zutara shipper IN MY LIFE, because unlike kataangers, they don't care about what you ship, they don't notice that you uploaded a video of your favorite ship and decide to give you the death penalty for it.
Yes, yes, those who write "Zutara better," "Zutara should be endgame," "And still she chose Aang" on KA videos are annoying, I know, people have told me that too. It's just that I don't throw myself on the floor and clutch my chest as if it were the worst insult that anyone has ever said to me in my life, nor do I create accounts to incite hatred and harassment just because a 12-year-old didn't like my ship. I just ignore it or respond with a simple "both are good" "no need to compare" and the discussion ends right there, because practicing courtesy is clearly not in the k//taanger dictionary, and Zutarians don't have the complexity that the world owes them something because their ship is canon, so don't insist on fighting.
Obviously, if you respond to the "zutara is better" comment with "cry about it, fucking 《slur》" you're going to start a fight, smartass. And that person will have to respond with the same violence; nobody is harassing you, you're getting yourself into that situation.
And that's why avoiding fights with Katangers is much harder, because it doesn't matter if I want to apply that blessed courtesy, it doesn't matter if I respond to the comment "Zutara is not canon, you delusional btch" with "I only ship for fun, I'm not looking to fight 😞" because the average response I'll get is a testament of pure hate even when I can't bend down any further to kiss their feet.
I cannot be neutral, or "make a difference" if my mere existence makes you foam at the mouth.
I don't understand the idea of considering Zutara toxic, especially from Zuko's part, but then other ships with him are totally fine?
I mean, wasn't that time the creators of ATLA said that girls who preferred Zutara would suffer in their relationships a little... crazy? Doesn't that imply that Mai, his semi-official partner, is with a bad guy? Did Zuko's redemption arc mean nothing?
Zuko is suddenly a stable and healthy human being in other ships, but the moment he's paired with Katara, he's scum of the earth? How does that work?
It’s because they hate the idea of their fave being shipped with a brown indigenous woman.
Well, I guess that's a factor. But people genuinely prefer Zuko to be shipped with Sokka rather than Katara, and usually, anti-Zutara arguments are anti-Zuko most of the time.

When Zuko joins the gaang Katara constantly antagonizes him and he never tries to pick a fight with her over it.
He confronts her at the beginning of the southern raiders, presumably at the end of his rope after weeks of one-sided (and deserved imo) animosity, and for the rest of the episode is nothing but caring and respectful to her.
He goes OUT OF HIS WAY to sit next to her in ember island players (he practically hip checks Aang out of his seat lmao) and she teases him the same friendly way we’ve seen her tease other members of the gaang. They’re friends, full stop.
Even though Katara yells at him for attacking Aang for seemingly no reason at the beginning of the phoenix king, she’s also the one to invite him into the group hug.
Yes both Katara and Zuko can be temperamental and stubborn. They would probably butt heads from time to time on things they’re passionate about, which is a perfectly normal thing for people to do. But the fact that antis insist that they couldn’t get along or work through their issues blatantly ignores the natural, healthy communication they maintain by end of the series.

Most of the time Katara gets angry, it's because people don't listen to her, they do things that not only get them into trouble but also involve her.
Zuko usually gets angry when someone makes fun of him or challenges him to the point of disrespecting him; if Katara is his girlfriend, she would have no reason to do that.
I love Zukka content that's ACTUALLY about Zukka instead of Katara talking shit about Zuko 24/7

Every time a Zutara shipper says they don't get involved in K//taang content, honestly, I believe them, because you guys have EVERYTHING to silence them. K//taangers don't like bald Aang either!
Since I'm both a Zutara shipper and a K//taang shipper, I've looked for content from both. And K//taangers take EVERY opportunity they can to give A.ang hair.

There are some exceptions, but the word itself says it all, EXCEPTIONS, it's not the norm.
Seriously, you all just have to look it up and you'll realize.
They even make edits of when he had hair in Book 3 just to say how much BETTER he looked that way. They also have this weird obsession with taking any of his scenes and drawing hair on him just to prove he's more handsome than Zuko.

This comic is quite concerning to me.
It's framed as romantic. Aangsty.
I think it's anything but that.
Aang tries to pry an answer out of Katara about their kiss before the invasion. She avoids the topic, as she has done so before. Aang’s frustration produces a dangerous lava blast. Katara has to hide behind a pillar to avoid getting singed. Its dangerous. Its reckless. But Katara immediately redirects sympathy toward his fear of him being the one harmed.
Once again, it's Katara - despite nearly getting walloped - that reassures him. That she's 'fine'; even praising him. Her fright and the recklessness of what he did are barely acknowledged.
Now it's worth noting Aang doesn't deliberately try and hurt Katara, but its absolutely a point-blank showcase of Aang losing control and endangering Katara because he cannot consider her romantic boundaries.
Does he apologise? Yes. But in the end his actions are still framed as 'valid.'
That to me, is a little bit toxic. And what's more is that we see glimpses of this in the Atla movie - this is something that Aang has never grown from. Concerning.
The worst part is that if A.ang behaved like this in the live-action version, people would call it Zutara propaganda 😭 their fav has always been like this; they simply created such a fan-made version of him based on pure idealization that they refuse to see that A.ang isn't really that soft boy who would never shout or be mean.
A.ang said in the series that he would never use firebending again since he burned Katara, but when she does something he doesn't like, this is his reaction?
And it's not the first time that Katara, instead of getting angry or pointing out certain behaviors he has that aren't right, feels empathy for him and tries to comfort him. Remember when he hid her father's letter? S.okka was furious and decided to turn his back on him, while Katara just showed sadness and compassion for him.
Also, going back to when he burned her hands, she never brought it up again, while S.okka knocked him to the ground and manhandled him, furious.
This paragraph made me even angry about how S.okka judged Katara in the TSR episode. It's unrelated, but whenever S.okka feels betrayed or angry, he has the right to take it out on whoever caused it. But when Katara does it, he treats her like crazy 😭 not only with Yon Rha, but also with Jet.

I once read in a comment section of a Zutara video where someone said to the creator something like "mind you, Katara had three children w Aang" and the video creator replied w "and she would have had more if she didn't give birth to an airbender"

I remember that the first post I liked on Tumblr was an anti-Zutara one, where the person explained that they didn't like how people constantly drew Katara in Fire Nation clothes but not Zuko in Water Tribe clothes, and that this often erased her culture by only representing her in those outfits. (It was something much deeper than that, but you get the idea.)
And something I've noticed about the Zutara fandom is that... they really take criticism seriously when it's valid.
The Pocahontas drawings? Not a single person who isn't anti-Zutara has even dared to make even a comparison; they avoid falling into that plot at all costs.
Are they eliminating Katara's culture to focus solely on Zuko's? Now they are going to make million fanarts and fanfics where they start living at the North Pole, or Katara, instead of wearing typical New FN outfits, simply wears clothing from her tribe or a mix of them.
What about old Zutarians who used to sexualize Katara or portray her in a very strange way? Here are a thousand more fanarts with semi-realistic styles of Katara looking like a real-life Inuit, or always being careful about how they depict Katara in intimate situations.
The supposed Zutara fanfics where she cheats on Aang to get revenge for the lack of ZK in the movie? There aren't any, they don't exist. There are only like three in Ao3, and they're one-shots. This whole "Zutarians are mischaracterizing Katara by forcing her to cheat on Aang" scandal isn't real! These people are just trying to ragebait you all, and they're succeeding. They know that claims like that irritate KAs, and they do it even more. I've rarely seen any real content made about it; it hasn't gone beyond jokes.
They don't throw themselves on the floor to throw a tantrum and force you to accept their ship as it is without even sitting down for a minute to reflect on whether this criticism could be true or not; If they know they're messing up, they get their themselves together and do everything possible to fix it.
They genuinely try to evolve, to see the problematic aspects they need to work on. Not like a certain group that just crosses their arms, pouts, and tells you you're exaggerating, that everything is fine, just to avoid interfering with their perfect canon.
Apparently, they don't like that Katara is forcefully shipped; only when she is forcefully kissed! As long as it's their fav.
Make up your minds, did she reject him or not?

It's only okay to ship one character with another (even when they already have a partner) if it's my favorite ship; otherwise, they're fake and annoying fans!!
I think these are just a few examples of the hypocrisy in this fandom. Remember to ship themes that YOU yourself decided were problematic as long as they're gay or canon!
I always thought the Kataang fandom used to interpret that scene as a mistake Aang made and got annoyed with the Zutarians whenever someone complained in the same way I usually get annoyed when someone complains about Zuko, like "omgg, he already made up for his shit, leave him alone." Not that they genuinely believed that shit was okay. That she was simply "surprised and didn't know how to react 🥺🥺"
