the van I've been living out of for the last few years is finally starting to break down to the point where it's becoming unsafe to drive. oil is leaking onto my front suspension system and eating away at it, and it's going to cost almost as much as I paid for the van itself to fix it (about $2300). I'm still trying to work out my living situation after my friends' lease is up in October, but as a last ditch effort I'll need a vehicle that my dog and I can live in. my goal is $5k which I know is a lot but it'll either buy me a new shitbox van or it'll make a decent down payment for a slightly better vehicle.

I can't be on the streets with my dog and not have a vehicle to live in. I'm asking for all the help I can get.
