fic idea where shizune dies in action but revives hours later. a funeral wasn’t even planned yet in that amount of time. to her, she just passed out and woke up in the hospital looking for kimono, but to everyone else, the second they turned their heads, the fresh corpse just disappears from sight. after sorting out the fact that the corpse is shizune, who is capable of communicating, tests are run on the hokage’s assistant to figure out how the hell she’s even walking right now with all of her inert organs. after the tests and the fact that shizune is a walking medical mystery, shizune’s allies are told of her death and subsequent resurrection one by one.
