"everyone should get more aromantic" can appeal to tumblr's sensibilities but I genuinely think everyone should also get more asexual. I don't mean everyone stop having sex, what I mean is

Sex is not essential. You can live without it. Full stop.

Not having sex isn't shameful or a sign of failure. It also doesn't make anyone boring.

You are not entitled to having sex with anybody and nobody is entitled to having sex with you.

Sex is not what makes someone an adult.

Nobody's worth is defined by how much sex they have or don't have.

Sex is not equally important to everyone.

You can have fulfilling and happy relationships without sex.

You should only have sex on your own terms, not because you feel like you owe it to someone, or because you feel like you'd be incomplete without it.

Know your boundaries around sex and be firm about them. Know how to respect other people's boundaries.

The previous point also applies when it comes to discussing sex. If someone doesn't wanna talk about it or hear about it you have to back down.

Anything can be sexual but not everything has to be sexual.

Hiiiiiiiii, thank you @assan08 and @laeliana for sending asks about my darling Angeline :3 First impression Instantly loved her. Even as a ten-year-old, I felt very connected to her. I was very frustrated that she got healed so easily at the end of book one, and even more frustrated that she never appeared much beyond that.

Impression now I relate to her more than ever 🥲 She's truly become my absolute favourite, and while I'm still frustrated at what she is in canon, I've just taken her under my wing and created a whole backstory and personality for her, she's basically an OC at this point 😅

Favorite moment I do really like the scene in The Time Paradox where she has a little heart-to-heart with Artemis at the end, after she's healed, and reveals she knows everything about the People and what he did to save her. I feel like it's one of the rare moments where she's fully herself, and their dynamic feels the most genuine and real - she's fully being a mum, scolding him for all the lying and deceiving, but still insisting on how proud she is of everything he's done. She's playful, dead serious, and loving. It's really THE moment that shows how actually emotionally intelligent and perceptive she is, and how important she could have been to the story. And Artemis in this scene is so adorable, feeling like his six-year-old self scolded for having hacked into the school system all over again 🥲 That's just so damn cute.

Idea for a story While it's not entirely focused on her, The Fragments will have a pretty big arc on her backstory with Tim, and she'll obviously be a major character.

Unpopular opinion tbh I feel like being so fond of her is an unpopular opinion in itself 😅 I hate how she's so often reduced to being a stupid-mobwife-superficial-mum, and that the main thing people remember her for is her psychotic episodes from book one and the Randomosity shirt.

Favorite relationship Artemis 💜 Mum and son of all times 💜 I also love the friendship she has with Butler but this one only exists in my head for now so it doesn't really count 😅

Favorite headcanon I have too many 🥲 Let's go for a silly one : she chose the name for her jazz band The Silky Sifaka Lemurs, but for their first concert the drummer mispelled it on all their flyers and banner (Silky Silfaka Lemurs). She was a bit pissed off at first, but they decided to roll with it and ultimately never changed it. is this headcanon coming from ME mispelling it like an absolute idiot and only realising way too late ? no no no absolutely not

but to my defense in French the lemur is called a "propithèque soyeux" so I discovered the English name way later, misread it once and rolled with it for literal months before discovering there wasn't a L in Sifaka

March 2026 update:

Campaign Story: Starting at 42,000 USD (raised in the last war), Voices of the Unseen begins again.... Following the devastating events of 1 March, 2026, and the subsequent heavy bombardment of Beirut’s southern suburbs and South Lebanon in the early hours of 2 March, we are witnessing a terrifyingly familiar cycle of violence. At least 31 people have been martyred and 149 wounded in just the last few hours. Thousands more fleeing their homes under new evacuation orders. The recent escalation has pushed Lebanon back to the brink of a full scale war.

In 2024, we saw firsthand the systemic failure of the state. As bombs fell, the state offered no safety net for those most vulnerable:

Migrant Workers: Still trapped under the Kafala system a form of modern day slavery, many are being abandoned by employers fleeing the violence, left without papers or safe passage.

Syrian Refugees: Already displaced by over a decade of war, we are once again facing the trauma of being uprooted with nowhere left to run.

Palestinians: Facing an ongoing struggle for survival as the violence in Lebanon mirrors the aggression they have endured for 78 years.

Marginalised Lebanese: Families in the South, Bekaa, and Beirut are losing their livelihoods and homes, watching their society be torn apart once more.

When the state failed, organisers from these communities built critical safety nets. This was done with your help. Last year, we raised $42,000 (USD) that went directly to community organisers from these communities. Now, we must do it again. Our current efforts are being channelled through a core group of trusted community groups: Tres Marias, Reman, Syrian Eyes and DoWAN. We are building community led solutions to a systemic collapse. We are calling for immediate financial and in kind donations to support emergency housing, healthcare access and basic survival needs.
