Intro post

We are the Wherewithal System. We are an adaptive system, and we are pro-endo, and everyone is safe to interact. Anti-harassment, pro-you-can-do-whatever-you-want-forever. We don't care about shipcourse, we just want stuff to be tagged properly so we can block it.

We collectively go by they/it and use the name Crows. We are bodily an adult, and welcome interactions with others who are comfortable. We will not befriend you unless you are in a close age range to us.

We are completely fine with doubles (we don't believe someone can truly "double" another, but that's the common term), and sourcemates. Our fictives are not comfortable being roleplayed with, unless you ask first. You can interact all you want, just don't assume to know them right away.

We tend to call ourselves housemates, headmates, roommates, or members. Use whatever terms you want.

see, the thing is, i understand anti-endos/anti-willos. i've felt that pang of "that's not fair! i had to go through hell for this! i was forced into it! it's not fair that you can choose! it's not fair that you got it naturally!"

but, the thing is? i'm mature. so i moved on. feelings are normal. jealousy is normal. that feeling of "this isn't fair" is normal. but you have to learn to deal with it. you have to acknowledge that the feeling is real and valid, but it's also not one you can allow to stay.

because it's not fair to them. those are real people, endogenic and willogenic systems. those are people with emotions and feelings. you have no idea what their life is like. you cannot allow your upset to hurt them.

I know it shouldn't be strange to feel connected to my source, but it really hurts to see the death of Mollymauk again. I'm very attached to the concept of him, but I'm happy with the send-off he got. I'm fascinated by how he becomes idolized into a figure he barely ever was, and I'm very aware that I tend to resemble that version of Mollymauk myself. I'll never quite feel right about Kingsley later on though, it just feels so drastically different from the person he was.
