He’s been the mayor for less than 2 months and he’s already on his “last resort” of raising taxes on the middle class.

He ran on his catchy slogan of raising taxes on the top 1% by 2%. And now he wants to raise taxes on the average person by 9%.

It would be funny if this didn’t affect so many people so negatively.

The Incarnation is my absolute favorite doctrine. The fact that God himself chose to become one of us. That he lived a human life, felt anxiety and anger and grief. The creator of the universe itself knows our experience firsthand-- both the overwhelming and the mundane. He paid taxes, he wept at the grave of a dear friend, he went to parties, he hung out with his friends, he was afraid before his death. I just feel so much emotion at the thought that God himself has experienced so many of the things we have. He truly understands.

Yea if we all did those things, we'd all have a better lot in life. Even if it wasn't, idk why something as simple as budgeting is frowned upon. Just sounds like you're wanting to remove yourself from the consequences of your actions (or lack thereof).

That was the beautiful thing about Faramir. He was an absolute badass who could really wipe the floor with anyone...but he was a ***restrained*** absolute badass. He preferred lore, and song and beautiful good things in life. He only reluctantly picked up the bow and the sword to defend his people. And that reluctance was what made him so attractive to Eowyn.
