There's something so profound about WAD being the show Dan wrote to save himself and also the WAD hat having the magic healing anti-migraine powers for Phil. If this were fiction I could write a whole essay on the symbolism in the choice to link both mental and physical healing for both characters to the same event, but as it's real life I guess I just have to question the existence of fate, as too many things about their lives make me do.
