Wtf, imo Aaron thinks Robert isn't good enough at all, but can't stop loving him for some unknown reason.

The way I see it is Robert loves Aaron despite everything and everyone. He's got Aaron on a pedestal.

And despite everything Robert's done, Aaron loves him. But if he had a choice he'd choose not to. He's only with Robert because he can't not love him, despite trying so many times to move on.

Well I agree with Aaron not being able to not love Robert. and would add that I think that is a mutual trait 🙂

The way Aaron's been lately he'll be joining in with Cain. He never seems like he likes Robert any more, just sits there with a face on him and says nothing but negative stuff or insults to him. It's like Robert's his little pet.

Well I have no worries about Aaron on any of those scores 🙂 At the moment my biggest concern is that he'll be too empathic/ understanding of Cain and what he's doing, too early for me.

I don't want Aaron begging Cain for Robert's life, I want him demanding that he lets him go and then giving him hell for even thinking of knocking him out and tying him up! And then I want him to tell Cain (and Robert) in no uncertain terms how important Robert is to him and how if Cain ever hurts him again, he won't be responsible for his actions!

And then, I suppose, he can be a bit understanding and conciliatory about why Cain has done what he's done but if he's not raging at first then I will be!!

This was the best bit of the episode for me today ❤️ because I do love me a sneezing baby 🙂

And kudos to Katie and Joe for carrying on around it.

Oh, and I've only just noticed Jacob and Sarah's matching not quite outer wear - the wardrobe department doing good work there.

Aaron can fill a barn with jackets instead of bread and get the rings out and get down on one knee and do it right this time. Haha

Now that is something I'd love to see :)

I'm probably in the minority but I can think of a potential positive to the way things at ED seem to be going with the cast doing other small, self-contained things (which I'm assuming is related to the budget cuts/their money saving drive)

So, though it might mean we get times when we know our boys will be off-screen for a while way before the spoilers come out, it also might make it more likely that they'll stick around at Emmerdale for longer. If they know that they could do a couple of episodes of something else (like Silent Witness) or a short run of a play/short film or something else that really ups their coffers, every now and again, without too many issues with their main job, it might make them less likely to get itchy feet - variety being the spice of life and all that!

Not that I can see either of them letting any foot-related irritation cause them to leave any time soon but I do think it could be something that helps to keep them there. And there's times now when they're not on screen and at least if they're doing other things we stand a chance of seeing them rather than just surviving on Instagram posts.
