If a child comes to you, begging to train to be able to protect the only family she has, because war stole her parents, her identity, her childhood. Because war doesn't discriminate. It goes for fathers, mothers, grandparents, kids, nature.
There are barely any jobs, food , or medications. The crime sky rocket, you can barely go outside due to the insecurity. People can break in her house knowing they were alone, no adult in sight. Every day I can imagine how scared Yor must have been for Yuri, and for herself. We don't know if she was mugged in an alley at 13 years old, a child, or worse. I can't even imagine the human traffic.
And then she finds Shopkeeper, sees a golden opportunity to keep Yuri alive, to stay alive until the war end, and asks him to train her to protect her little brother, because it's the only thing she has left in the world.
Should the Shopkeeper have said "I'm sorry, I can't train you for ethics and because I will be accused of grooming".
