like, i get how having your husband cheat on you (and subsequently leave you) sorta ruins your mental state, but it isn't an excuse to completely nope out of decent parenting? when you're a parent, your kids should be your number one priority, no? you can mope all you want, just, maybe, don't take out your divorce frustrations on your kids???

2021 Winter Anime Season Opens with Lesbian Horror Sci-Fi ‘Otherside Picnic’

The first episode of LIDEN Films and Felix Film’s Otherside Picnic television anime series Otherside Picnic aired today. The series, based on the light novels by Iori Miyazawa, follows two young women as they adventure into the dangerous and horrifying Otherside and do battle with creatures from internet lore.

The first episode, “Wiggle-Waggle Hunting” follows Sorawo (aka Sorao) as she awakens in a pond in a mysterious otherworld and spots a horrifying “wiggly” creature and a beautiful human girl, Toriko. The episode is now streaming with English subtitles on Funimation.

Otherside Picnic is directed by Takuya Satou, who has experiment with both science fiction (Steins;Gate) and Yuri (Kase-san and Morning Glories). The series stars Yumiri Hanamori and Ai Kayano as the female leads, alongside Rina Hidaka and Miyu Tomita. The opening, “Minikui Ikimono” is perfremed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks and the ending theme is “You & Me” by Miki Satiou.

The original light novels are published in English by J-Novel Club. The series has received critical praise for its world-building, characters, slow-build romance, and hard science fiction elements. A manga adaptation of the series is serialized in Monthly Shounen Gangan. It is licensed in English by Square Exit and will debut later this year.

You can watch Otherside Picnic today on Funimation in North America and the British Isles. In Europe, the series is on Wakanim, and AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand. The next episode “Hachishaku-sama Survival” will premiere on January 11.

the part in the live performance where yuujirou hugs aizou… it seemed as if aizou was about to hug him back but he stopped himself from doing that on stage… it’s very subtle but it’s there? and it wasn’t put randomly either… whoever designed their moves just KNEW what they were doing!

look at his right arm almost moving “instinctively” to return the hug and wrap it wround yujirou’s waist but he clenches his fist to force himself to stop and lowers it in defeat…. and then u get them giving each other the softest looks after the hug I CAN’T ANYMORE

point is they hugged before and did it often that aizou almost reacted without thinking AND AND YUUJIROU’S FACE don’t get me started on that either bYE
