So what I’m thinking is
As many people as possible snail mail a printout of a political cartoon to Trump
A few things I think would make this work
1. Start mailing cartoons 3/8 and stop mailing 3/15. I can set up a poll or something for people to choose a date to mail their cartoon. This way the letters will start arriving a little before, during and slightly after the Ides. Anyone from anywhere in the world can participate if they have access to a mail system
2. Sign the cartoon “with love from Brutus” (typewritten) and have the return address simply say “Brutus” with the White House address so no names or identifying information. I would figure out what the best address is and provide it here
3. Extra careful steps, print the cartoon at a public place like a library or a Staples and mail it from a post office you don’t usually use. I’m not sure how much harder that would make tracking but if anyone has a better idea I’m open to hearing it
4. No threats of any kind. This is what I think is the most important. Think of it as a peaceful protest. The thing that makes it stand out is the number of letters and the fact that all the cartoons are from “Brutus.” I really doubt anyone would put together the Ides of March aspect without knowing something about tumblr
