It really was an Amazing Digital Circus show.

Really, this show was neat. It's so inspiring to see how artist that I followed for years (Glitch, Gooseworx, Kevin Temmer and way more) managed to made this really sweet thing that is this show.

I get to see the final on theater a few weeks ago (And waited until today to not spoil anything), also met the french casting of voice actors during a conventions, accidentally made a Buff Kinger comic that got way too much attention... the cool stuff !

Truly, these 3 years of this ? It was as neat as inspiring.

It may be over now, but truly, thanks a lot for doing what you did there.

2nd Sonic themed character from the previous month, here's Rouge the Bat !

Of course she was going to win that poll, it wasn't even fair. That said, I took the opportunity to draw her with my slight design's change !

Hot take, I... don't really like Rouge's main outfits ? I actually really prefer the one used in Prime, Heroes, or like here, the one from Sonic Dash, surprisingly. It just look more "Secret Agent" as she's supposed to be to me.

Other than that, she's actually a character I like a lot role-wise, I really like the Team Dark. (like, If was better at drawing Robot guys, you'd have more Omega art from me.)

Have more TADC. I know it ended and I already shared the "Tribute artwork", but I got at least one thing or two to share :' ).

I actually really like Gangle as a character, and I really loved her arc in Episode 4 (Using to have a job in the wonderful fast food industry, so I actually really loved this episode. Relatable :' )...)

The one with Zooble was inspired by the conversation I had with the french voice actors when I met them ! Basically, they kinda liked my Zooble's sketches that went all over the place in term of shapes, so have some mini fan characters here.

Kaufmo and Caine's interaction is both a nod to Game Grumps and one of Gooseworx answers on her tumblr.

I had to draw that fish too, he's a fun lad. (His french voice actor was amazing on this one :' ) Made me laugh way too hard.)

to give some entirely bizarre context, nigel farage (extreme cunt) has stepped down from his position as MP for clacton (due to a scandal where he received £5 million from a crypto billionaire that could have been laundered) only to run again so that he can prove people like him. and the only person running against him is count binface. who has been a staple of british politics for many years. and now the british press is forced to interview him seriously while he sits there with his binface.

Sure, I would've loved for Snively or Zomom to win, but I get it, between three really obscure character, Honey was the one to win there. (No Eggman though : ( ? )

Who remember Honey ? From the 2012 version of Sonic the Fighters, and the Archie and IDW comics ? You can say you don't, it's fine. But you have to know she's a neat character and a great easter from another SEGA game.

Personally, I really like her from the Archie Comics. Give it a shot, it was nice !

Okay, but this is really important: Bruce Springsteen occupied this really weird place in music history. His songs were all from this pessimistic, nihilistic view of an America that had let him down:

Just like the anti-Vietnam War protest songs that we associate with the 1960s, or the early nihilism that spawned punk music in the 1970s. But he didn’t *sound* like a punk anarchist; he sounded like a country rock singer. When he released Born in the U.S.A. people completely misinterpreted (or possibly ignored) the lyrics in favor of the tone of the music.

Politicians used his music to promote their ‘Murica Yes! brand, and he had to literally explain that that was not what he was about. He’s over here asking when we’re going to have jobs and heathcare, not stanning the politicians who weren’t helping the people.

It was also kind of a big deal that he had an integrated band, because even as late as the 1980s music was still kind of segregated and MTV was straight up racist. They refused to play and promote black artists and then claimed that were no black artists in the first place. Michael Jackson’s record company had to threaten a boycott of their white artists to get MTV to play his Thriller video.

Plus, the first black/white interracial kiss on TV was in 1968 (OG Star Trek). Also it took us until the 70s to get sympathetic gay characters on screen, and the 90s to get gay characters to kiss onscreen. And all of those firsts were met with outrage.

So keep that in mind when you see Bruce Springsteen not just playing with an interracial band, but engaging in an interracial, gay kiss on stage repeatedly.

I’m having some emotions about it!

Not just! I love you pure and deep and true but! I am going to love you like that in front of the whole damn world!

We have fewer narratives about taking risks and making statements for platonic love rather than romantic and supposedly it would be easier to downplay this onstage than romance and! They refused! They fucking refused! In front of hundreds of thousands of people, over the course of years! In the spotlight, in word and deed, I love you!
