some more bands from the inkle loom made from random yarns from my stash. at a certain point I tried to see how wide I could go and I think the widest one is about 8 or 9 inches. I want to try connecting some together to make larger pieces of fabric!!!

Some recent spins, trying out some stuff while i wait for the second bobbin of the pink to rest.

The pink is a lovely hand-dyed mix of Rambouillet, Tencel and silk that i got at a local wool festival, it appears a bit less red in real life.

On the niddy noddy i have a sample of a Polwarth spiral yarn. I've never spun Polwarth before and its so lovely to work with! Very airy and definitely the whitest wool I've seen so far.

The small skeins are both Romney, spun on the drop spindle and plied on the wheel. The smaller one is a two-ply and turned out a bit too fine for my preference. The other one is chain plied. Its alright but i kind of suck at chain plying

Loom is warped once again! I'm going for a big bag of scrappy sock yarn left over from various weaving projects, tied together with a lovely skein of pink-yellow toned hand dyed yarn.

I wasn't super thrilled with how the warp looked by itself, but I think the weft is tying things together beautifully. Still figuring out the precise right beat for this very fine yarn, I'm too spoiled by worsted acrylic.

my first hand-dyed braid! Its combed Corriedale and it turned out a little compacted, but the colours are perfect!

being an everything crafter is great but also sucks. like i want to get my watercolors out but i need to put away my microcrochet first. i want to do some leatherwork but my oil paints are on the table. i want to whittle but i'm using the bucket i catch wood shavings in to hold my papermaking mush. i want to write my book but my hands are too busy knitting a sweater. i want to code another video game but i'm too busy studying nalebinding. do you see my problem. the problem is that i need more hands

B5-size print of the muscles of the arm, based off a wax model by Anna Morandi Manzolini, an 18th century anatomist, artist, and lecturer. I think her composition of this specific model is just incredible! Unfortunately I could only find one blurry reference photo in the University of Bologna's catalogue, so I'm citing that as my flimsy excuse for the various inaccuracies present in this linocut.
