LIVE WALLPAPER: wallpaper engine. only thing on here that costs any money (its like 5 bucks on steam). im sure theres free alternatives but this one has a lot of presets and stuff so its less hassle and its what i use. might be a bad idea for lower end pcs tho

Did anyone else just get that Netflix notification about them offering podcasts? Cuz Im real unhappy with the idea that Netflix wants to try and further monetize one of the least restrictive forms of media that literally almost anyone could do because they dont have big corporations breathing down their necks.

JonMartin became canon because Jonny Sims listened to his fan base (plus Jon is canonically ace). Cecil Baldwin (actor) singlehandedly made Cecil Palmer (character) attracted to Carlos in episode 1 of Welcome to Night Vale and Jeffery Cranor and Joseph Fink rolled with it because that's how Cecil read the line. The Silt Verses has two canonically trans main characters (Page and Faulkner) and nobody in the show gave a fuck. The Penumbra Podcast is chock full of representation the likes of which you would NEVER see on TV. Had Netflix or a TV corp owned these, they wouldve pulled the plug on these shows so long ago.

I just hope it doesn't make it harder for small creators to gain an audience. Plus, its another way for Netflix to just drive the price up when Im already about to exit stage left thanks to the shitshow that was Stranger Things S5.

So yeah, there's free to listen to podcasts on Spotify and Apple Music. Maybe get your podcast content from small creators.
