leoreturns:
I have been waiting all year to post this.
Can’t wait to see what the rest of the statement was! Chris will be on this upcoming Sunday’s Match Game.
Tears, actual tears!
Didn’t get to watch AoS until tonight, and I don’t do spoilers for this show, so when Trip came out of that cage... OMG, tears came into my eyes and I have the biggest grin on my face still. Yes, I’m sad about Mace, but nothing can take away my Trip high.
I got a magic sti-ick!
I don’t care if it was a reset, I’m so happy. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! I did like the ending, but I’m going to miss Grimm SO MUCH!
No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!

I have two The Land of Stories badges left to give away, to two people.
Likes and reblogs will both count (only reblog once, please). I will close this at noon Eastern time on Sunday, June 26th.
I had people commenting on my earlier post being shocked, YES BEN & FRANK ARE THE SAME PERSON.
You mean Ben’s with Frank?
Do we suspect there may be some kind of connection between Ben and Frank?
I don’t understand - do Ben and Frank know each other?
WAIT WHAT THE FUCK THOUGH. WHAT THE FUCK. I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW. WHAT THE F
Is everyone here very stoned?
TOO SOON!!
NATHAN!
Have to admit, it took me a minute and then... Noooooooo! Awwww.....

The Kurt/Burt relationship (and how 2009 fits)
One of the things that I especially appreciated about the episode 2009 what how the back-story of several of the characters got filled in a little bit. We got to see Mercedes get her start in her church choir, Tina deliberately placing herself with the outcasts, Artie flying below the radar. But the character who seemed to get the most important and relevant focus was Kurt. At first that might seem strange given how well established he was early on. Nearly from the start of the series, we got a clear sense of Kurt, his icy brashness and most importantly, his relationship with this father. But the first glimpse we got of Kurt in 2009 was a kid who had the ready comeback within him, but too afraid to say it without taking it back. That had the talent to be a star, but little of Kurt’s familiar confidence and resilience. We got to see how those so familiar traits began to emerge once Kurt started to break out of his self-imposed shell.
But two things seemed out of tune with how we’ve come to known Kurt. First, that the thought of suicide was even a passing thought in his mind. But the second and most significant was that Kurt seemed so distant and estranged from his father. We’ve spent so much time seeing Burt as the loving supportive parent who while he might not fully understand Kurt and his passions, never failed to be Kurt’s biggest cheerleader. So how could there have been a time that Kurt would ever question his father’s love for him? That he would be afraid that he would lose his parent if his father learned about his sexuality.
We know that in Preggers that Kurt was still in the closet. And we had that wonderfully heartwarming moment where after scoring the winning point for the football team that Kurt finally found the courage to tell his father the truth. And that Burt assured Kurt that he not only knew, but would never stop loving his son. So how could it be possible that Kurt could ever have questioned that his father would stop loving him after learning that he was gay.

OMG, that was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read. But not just beautiful, eloquently accurate. It’s everything I’ve felt about Burt and Kurt since the finale and would never - could never - find the words. Thanks you for that.
R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy, who has passed away at the age of 83, the NY Times reports.
Where do you get these???
WANT!
If you want to know why Kurt can be distant
and picks his battles, letting some things he could/should fight for slide,
why he can be a prickly hedgehog to get close to sometimes
why he can’t forgive breaking his trust easily
why he can be severe and sometimes singleminded,
consider that he has been fighting against people’s preconceptions
and laughter
and cruelty
since he was three years old,
and five years after that, he lost the support of his mother,
and it wasn’t until about eight years after that
when he really got on the same page with his father.
Since he was three. Kids, and adults, were laughing at a three year old while he played.
When Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets died in 1990, Disney released this picture of Mickey consoling Kermit the Frog.
Makes sense.
