× What do I post?

I'm an artist, so you can expect drawings. But besides that I occasionally (often) ramble about theories or how much I LOVE a particular dynamic, and rarely (literally all the time) I reblog something from my current hyper fixation. Or something completely out of left field.

× How appropriate is this blog?

No NSFW, I'm a minor and I don't want to attract those kind of people in my blog because the idea of people associating me with that feels uneasy- Suggestive stuff however is a different story, it's still rare but I'll occasionally have a character have some unexplainable bite on their neck, they can't seem to walk properly today in particular, etc. And for swearing? FUCK YES BITC-

Soooo I was rewatching a childhood cartoon when I started picking up on some neurospicy vibes, and then this happened. Help, I can't stop giving adorable cartoon girls with headbands neurodivergent headcannons! I drew her as a few years older here, btw.

I feel the need to summon @djsadbean, because I just binged all of her Wordgirl art and it's half the reason I drew this in the first place.

For people who haven't seen WordGirl, all you need to know is that this (Becky Botsford) is the titular superheroine's mild-mannered secret identity, she has a monkey sidekick, and the narrator often interacts with the characters who I've represented in the captions.

They're gonna escape through the fountain.

The fountain's plaque quotes the same exact Proverbs, it stuck out to me because I thought it was rather ironic considering what the people behind Bet and Forgive are doing to the contestants.

Obviously the in-universe intention is that the criminals are the evil doers, but it's still ironic when looking at it through Eddie's perspective

CD is using the Plaque to subtly signal that the fountain is part of some kind of plan, and personally I think that plan is escaping.

1. With the way functioning *flowing* fountains work there HAS to be a pipe system, pipe systems in fountains loop in order to have an "endless" flow of water, however there's often an in-between step where the water is filtered in case it gets dirty in any way.

This is also where coins are often collected by staff unless the drains are too small for the coins/coins do not follow the flow towards the drain due to weight and sit at the bottom of the fountain away from it.

2. The fountain is backstage, a place we know isn't constantly recording the cast. That means between games there's a brief window where CD and the contests left alive can execute this plan

might be me projecting rn but i feel like sailor would unironically watch the octonauts. like it was his favorite childhood show and he still watches it to this day. kwazii was his favorite hands down, probably pocketed some figurines of the main three (barnacles, kwazii, and peso) when he went to prison. definitely got sandbag to play with him during the break before the first game

#Is CD recruiting Eddie to help take down bet and forgive?#<- if it's not escaping I certainly think so #is this saying that killing sailor makes us the evildoers?#<- I really don't think so. Sailor's death is significant because it's “killing an albatross” which is bad luck: but I think that refers to #-the game itself. The only route were sailor wins is the same route that you are 1 playing your role and 2 are teamed up with people that-#-want to win. I really feel like this fanbase doesn’t give Caine’s writing enough credit. Sympathetic antagonists can so often fall too extremely on either side where either their crimes seem downplayed for pity points or they’re so evil you forget they were intended to be sympathetic in the first place and Caine somehow strikes this balance perfectly. He’s simultaneously a neglected child desperately crying out for attention, an artist going through a crippling amount of burnout and a megalomaniacal tyrant who needs to satiate his bruised ego at every opportunity but none of those traits ever feel like they contradict each other despite how drastically different they seem on the surface. And though he definitely is victim to bad faith interpretations I feel like him being as divisive as he is is overall a showcase of how good his writing is because neither loving him or loathing him feel like ‘wrong’ options, because it’s so easy to feel both towards him. He’s wretched and incredibly frustrating to watch. He is also immensely pitiable and tragic.
