I have never seen anyone who committed themselves to the Qur’an, and the Qur’an didn’t change them for the better. The blessings that rush into one’s time and life are immense and indescribable. It inculcates subtle wisdom into you and beautifies your characters and manners. Its verses become your anchor that guides you before making every move. Its admonitions and glad-tidings become your immune system that saves you every time you fall back your way. And above all, it gives you a criterion in your chest and mind so you can distinguish what’s haqq and what’s batil — truly a فرقان. But for that, you have to give a part of yourself to the Qur’an so you can reap its rewards and blessings.
