Are you all actually thinking about how Heeseung might be feeling regarding this? Do you think the way you’re behaving makes him feel good? So, if this truly turns out to be Heeseung’s own decision, where is the support? Because you are practically invalidating what he wants just to prioritize what the fandom wants.
We need to use some common sense here. Just because there was a fansign two days ago doesn't mean Heeseung or the members were going to explicitly say, 'Hey, this is the group’s last day.' That’s not how the industry works, and it’s not their place to bypass official announcements, regardless of how poorly BELIFT handled the timing.
Furthermore, we have to support Heeseung in this new chapter while continuing to stand by ENHYPEN. Change hurts, but they have their reasons. It might seem illogical to some to give him solo projects while moving him away from the group, but we have to consider the brutal physical and mental toll. If he has decided that this is what’s best for his artistry and his health, that is absolutely valid. Your pain as a fan is valid, but his right to choose his own path and his own peace is non-negotiable. Don't claim to love the artist while protesting the very thing that might finally give him the creative freedom he’s been dreaming of.

It’s no secret to anyone that ALL agencies are absolute trash. They are bad people who clearly don't think about others or the well-being of their artists, because they only see them as objects to promote, sell, and generate profit. Incoherent decisions are made every single day—take that for granted. Some things come to light, and others simply don't because it’s not convenient for them. The only certainty in this entire situation is that BELIFT is definitely garbage. Just think about it: it’s been 24 hours since it happened and nothing else has been said or done; the only ones truly in conflict are the fandom and no one else. They haven't even let any of the boys speak out. Look at the fancalls—they went on as if nothing happened, and the only noticeable thing was that they excluded Heeseung because his video calls are supposedly "postponed."
Let’s stop romanticizing 'hard work' when it’s actually systemic abuse. From the moment I-LAND ended, ENHYPEN has been on a non-stop treadmill of comebacks, world tours, and endless content with zero regard for their physical or mental health. We’ve seen them perform while visibly exhausted, sick, or injured because 'the show must go on.' We’ve seen the company fail time and time again to provide basic security against sasaengs who invade their privacy at airports and hotels. If BELIFT truly cared about the artists, they would prioritize rest and safety over profit margins. The fact that they remain silent while the fandom collapses only proves they see the boys as products to be shielded from the truth, but never from the exploitation.
3. ENGENE and their irony, selfishness, and inconsistencies.
I’ve seen some fans saying they would have preferred a hiatus or even a dating scandal over this. Yet, if there were actually a hiatus, they’d be just as outraged. If it had been a dating scandal, they would already be fueling conflicts, belittling Heeseung or the other members, and possibly even demanding his removal from the group. And not only that—saying "It’s all of them or none" is ridiculous when, clearly, if they just took everyone out of the group, people would ALSO be arguing about that. Honestly, it's impossible to be more hard-to-please than this.
If you claim to love the group but your first instinct is to demand a 'worse' scenario (like a scandal or a hiatus) just because you can't handle a change in direction, then you don't love the artist—you love the control you think you have over them. Real support means standing by them when things get complicated or different, not wishing for their downfall or a crisis just because the reality doesn't fit your personal 'all or nothing' narrative. Stop treating their careers like a scripted fanfiction where you get to decide the ending.
You are so terrified of the day ENHYPEN is no longer a group that you’ve become blinded to the toll it takes on them to keep it standing. You cry about the 'pain' their disbandment or changes might cause you, but where is that same empathy for the exhaustion they carry every single day? It is incredibly selfish to demand they remain unchanged and tied together forever just to preserve your comfort zone, while they are the ones sacrificing their youth, health, and peace of mind. If your 'love' for them depends on them being overworked and miserable just so you can have a group to stan, then you don't love ENHYPEN, you love the service they provide. They are human beings, not your eternal source of entertainment
4. ENHYPEN are adults now, NOT CHILDREN.
I-LAND was years ago. The boys from back then are not the same as the ones today. Their dreams aren't the same either, because each and every one of them has fought their own battles and faced their own reality checks. It’s no secret that the more fame an artist gains, the more complications they face.
Saying things like "But the Heeseung from back then wouldn't have wanted this" is exactly the point—you’re speaking in the past tense. The Heeseung from then is not the same Heeseung as now, in any sense. And with how much the agency restricts them from being honest with the fandom, we will never truly know what is going through their minds or how much they’ve been bottling up all these years.
The boys have every right to have their own aspirations beyond simply being part of ENHYPEN and pleasing the fandom. Nostalgia is a liar. You are mourning a version of Heeseung that exists only in your memory and in old clips. Forcing an artist to stay frozen in the personality or goals they had at 19 is not 'support'—it’s a cage. Growth requires change, and sometimes change is uncomfortable for the audience. If you truly respected him as a person and not just as a product, you would allow him the space to evolve, even if that evolution doesn't look like the I-LAND/Debut era you're clinging to.
5. We never truly get to know our idols in their entirety.
I place a massive emphasis on this because it is the truth. What we see in shows, recordings, and content is NEVER the same as when the cameras are off. Idols have lives beyond their work, and that must be respected. You cannot simply prioritize what you want or what you think you know because, again, that is being selfish and you are practically invalidating whatever the boys are actually feeling.

Finally saw the DominATE Experience (I went by myself because none of my friends like K-pop, lol) and I had SO MUCH FUN! Stray Kids never EVER fails to amaze me, being in the theater made me feel like I was literally AT the concert.
