@xxpumpkinsandpossumsxx have been trying to decide what kind of music each character from the long walk listens to. Here’s what we have so far bc we can’t quite figure Pete out. Please give us suggestions for Pete or tell us what else you think the boys would like!
Ray - Noah Kahan, Hozier, Ethel Cain, The Lumineers. Not only is his based on 95% of The Long Walk edits but he also just seems like the type of guy who would genuinely enjoy indie music.
Olson - Childish Gambino, BBNO$, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan. He claims his music taste is heavily influenced by Clementine but it’s not. He just likes sexual type pop songs.
Art- Little Big Town, Tyler Childers, James Townes Earle, Edwin Starr. Art is definitely a folk/country guy but he’s not too picky I don’t think.
Stebbins- Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bruce Springsteen, Blue Oyster Cult, Jefferson Airplaine. Stebbins is a definitely a rock guy, leaning more towards Vietnam war era rock.
Collie- The Muslims, Against Me, Suicidal Tendencies, Destroy Boys. Of course punk is the most fitting genre for Collie imo. I think it works especially since he’s very against authority and anti-establishment.
Harkness- Twenty One Pilots, All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Paramore. Harkness just seems like he would be an emo kid at heart. The converse and the denim vest kinda give it away.
Barkovitch- Gorillaz, Limp Bizkit, Misfits, Britney Spears. Like Collie Barkovitch seems very anti-authority but I think his music taste leans more towards metal/grunge.. except for Britney which of course comes from that BTS video of Charlie Plummer.
Rank (we did him just for fun)- ElyOtto, 100 Gecs, Ravenna Golden, Food House. We decided Rank would be into hyperpop bc honestly that’s just really fun.
