Originally based on that exact line in the lyrics of Osomatsu-san's first ever opening song, "The Hanamaru Whistle Is Only For Good Kids" from AOP, Yakko is Osomatsu-san's secret character, my oldest OC, created all the way back in 2016.

Yakko is a stoic, workaholic kemonomimi journalist with a serious alcohol problem.
He's got quite the RBF.
Personality /ᐠ ¬`‸´¬ マ
In terms of personality, he's aloof and apathetic most of the time, but struggles with anger issues and won't hesitate to throw a punch. Or a kick. Or a left hook. He really likes to fight.
Other than that, he's a pretty chill guy, who's a bit of an airhead, loves cooking and enjoys cutesy things despite his tough exterior.
As for actual relevant facts on this exhausted mess of a man, he is:
About 32 years old. So are sextuplets and most "young adult" side characters like Totoko, Chibita, Atsushi, etc.
Transgender and uses he/him pronouns, unless stated otherwise.
Bisexual, unless stated otherwise. Sexual attraction is independent of his romantic one. Generally very gay though.
On the aromantic spectrum (unacknowledged). Poor thing doesn't really understand what love is.
Also on the autism spectrum. High-functioning autism and ADHD. Struggles to externalize his emotions and, as a result, is kinda inexpressive and deadpan, except when he's very angry or very drunk. Also sensitive to loud noises.
Description /ᐠ. .ᐟ\
He's tall, almost 2 meters in height (or 6.23 feet I think), and on the chubby side. He has long, tall ears on top of his head, a big, fluffy tail, big hands with retractile claws and sharp teeth, just about the whole nine yards.
Why is he a kemonomimi? Well, in the canon, there's no real answer for this. It's just the way he is, and nobody is surprised or confused about it.
The actual answer is that I made him up when I was, like, 12 years old. So, yeah. Of course he is a wolf-dog-cat-boything. I quite like that about him.
Usually, he sports a long, dark green jacket with a white button down shirt and greyish/brown-ish baggie pants and black sports shoes. Occasionally wears a black tie. Uses two or more hair clips of variant designs to keep his messy curly hair out of his face.
Story ᓚᘏᗢ <( ᵐᵉᵒʷ )
After graduating highschool, Yakko left Akatsuka to study journalism far away in another prefecture. Ten years later, he's back to stay, completely disregarding the better job opportunities and quality of life the city offered for... Well, his friends. That rushed, nostalgia-fueled decision proved to carry lots of unforseen consequences...
He's meant to be a narrative foil to the sextuplets: he works, they don't; his only living relative is in a whole another district, their family is still all in a single place; he rents a tiny, shitty apartment and they live in a huge, comfortable house, and so on.

His main love interests are Osomatsu and Choromatsu.
But, I'll be honest, old sport. I ship him with all of them. It's funny because that makes their ship names all have the same name structure as the Girlymatsu gals. For example, Osokko (because "Oso" from Osomatsu and "kko" from Yakko), Karakko and so on.
From time to time, I also ship with Totoko, and Iyami, and even Hatabou when I'm feeling particularly insane. The Girlymatsu gals as well. Yeah. Pretty much whoever I'm obsessing over at the moment. Apologies in advance for the weird ass stories I'll be posting here.

This blog is exclusively about my yumeship and AUs. If anything, it's an archive for all my Oso-san related writing (because there's lots of it).

Sometimes, I write Yakko as a woman. This can be interpreted as him before his transition, but that won't always make sense to the canon timeline of his story. Some other times, I write about him as a man. This can be interpreted as Yakko with a fully realized transition, or not. Again, it won't always make sense, and that's really not the point.
I'm not trying to make a serialized novel about my yumeship of all things. I'm doing all of this for fun and only writing what feels good to me. When events ARE meant to be related, I'll make it clear. Otherwise, it's just:
