Alright gang now we're finally at the drawings I have in the back. To the surprise of literally no one, IT'S DELTARUNE TIME BABY!! LET"S GO!! Hoo boy this is gonna be something alright. Small disclaimer, this might take a bit. As in I have so many favorite characters from this god damn game it's insane. Are any of them Siffrin level favorites?? Nope, absolutely not, but they're definitely the closest from any other characters in media, so here we go!!

Silent protagonist trope being annoying as hell FINALLY BROKEN by being made into something juicy. When I first played Deltarune, I wasn't sure what my feelings were about any of the characters, but especially Kris. I see now that I was mistaken for not giving Toby time to fucking COOK. Kris, even though they barely say anything in words, is a phenomenal character. They don't need to have any dialogue to show how much they hate you. Other characters' dialogues about their reactions are more than enough. But even without those moments, endings of Chapter 1-2 and the entire beginning sequence of Chapter 4 make it clear as day that we have wronged them. They resent us. They want us gone. Through interactions with other characters, we see their personality shine bright, even if those moments don't last very long. We have taken away almost their entire autonomy, and it hurts. And boy don't get me started with the fucking Weird Route. They already hated us before even doing anything actually life altering, this just takes it to a whole new level. They feel disgusted, they're angry, they wish they could just rip you away permanently. Weird Route in Chapter 4 broke me. They could've killed themselves, right then and there, and I think they were willing to. They were that desperate to have you gone. You're just a parasite they can't get rid of. It's gross. Kris, as a character by themselves, is the definition of show don't tell and I LOVE it.
Now, this is the first time I actually have to write about Siffrin's relationship with a character outside of their own game. From now on, this is my opinion. Please don't kill me man I just want to see my favorite characters interact. Thank youuu <3
Honestly I think both of them would like each other. In a way, I can see Sif seeing Kris as a younger them?? They're a chaotic little shithead that loves pulling small pranks on people, rarely says anything, kinda lazy and is generally reserved. Even though they'd sometimes make Sif cringe a little bit since, yknow, Kris is still a teen at the end of the day, they'd really care about them. Kris would probably also look up to Sif as "the adult I wanna be", at least with how Sif would act around them. Well, except for the puns, of course. That'd remind them too much of their mom, they'd find that weird. For the rest? Adoptive family once again babbyyyyy <3 I swear I'll try not to give Sif like 100 children okay I'm gonna try my best,,,
