Noragami Chapter 107

Lots of annoying text-on-image this time around so it took a while to edit. I know I said this was a "half-chapter", but next month is most likely NOT the final chapter, as I fully expect there to have been some kind of announcement in the magazine if it was. So either 107 is the final chapter ant it's going to be divided into 3-4 parts (since final chapters tend to be longer than normal), or there's another chapter after this one. Either way, I expect another 2-3 months.

So, the title of this chapter is "白" with no reading attached to it. This is the character for "white" or "innocence", but the lack of furigana on it meant that it's unclear which of the numerous ways this character can be pronounced is intended.

And because there is no single reading being assigned to this character, I'm wondering if it's because Yato is going to name Hiyori by the end of this chapter and this will be the name he chooses, which will then have two readings. No matter what, the vessel name would probably be "Hakki". The Shinki name, depending on whether he gives her the "-ne" ending or not, could be "Shirone", or without the ending, it can be "Haku", "Kiyoshi", or "Akira" (I swear half of all kanji can be read as "Akira" on their own).

Or I could be totally wrong in my interpretation of the title given that nothing in this section of the chapter seemed to relate to it, aside from maybe the shinki's naiive thinking.

The chapter has been translated.  Next chapter comes out ¾/22, which translates to another Thursday for me.

Also just realized that Chapter 100 may be coming out on the same day as Doctor Strange 2, so that might be difficult, especially if Chapter 100 ends up coming all at once (nothing has been said either way).

For your asks: How do you get inspiration for your projects and what parts have been the most enjoyable for you so far?

Also your writing and art is lovely!❤

In case of projects I guess you mean any type of my Fandom creations?

I get inspired by songs, things I watch, art of other artists, so it can be literally everything. I often get the best ideas when I'm walking my dog or when I'm hanging with people and can't draw at the moment 💀

I think a lot of my art is actually based on portraing a certain emotion and then I'm making the rest of the idea around it. Like in this one :

My main idea was to portray terror and comfort, also make sure that Levi's expresion shows his moment of vulnerability and shock that Petra is there to support him in that state. It's not a picture of them as a couple but them as soldiers who are closer than any of them expected.

This one might seem like a silly fluff one, and it is, of course, but I did my best to show a moment of tenderness when Petra notices the way he looks at her and how lovingly he touches her face. It suppose to show a moment of them crossing a certain line in their relationship.

I think my favorite parts of creating stuff is sketching the idea that came to my mind and the last part when I'm adding some little details.

Generally I create with the intention to make people feel things. I'm happy when I see that my art impacted someone, even if it's in the smallest way!

Has anyone noticed the difference between Erwin and Petra’s facial expressions?

Meanwhile Erwin has a little frown and serious face, Petra looks much more relaxed and casual, she’s even smiling a bit (?)

And I think thats an epitome of their relationships with Levi.

Erwin is all about humanity (he even has the words ‘the hope for humanity’s survival’ on him) and seriousness, while Petra’s someone he can relax a bit with, someone who can pull a nicer side of him.

And Petra’s light smile, ugh.
