Our last three classes in the library 🙏 Kettlebell Yoga Class This is a 20 min yoga based class using a kettlebell. Start by warming up your shoulders to then move through variations of sun salutations. Once the body is warm, we strengthen our arms, shoulders, hips, and core, all of this using our kettlebell and two blocks. Feel free to take breaks if it gets too challenging. I recommend you to start with a lightweight kettlebell, to begin with, especially if you have never used one before. ** Six Movements of The Spine A short easy practice designed to limber the back. Here we take the spine through its six main movements: Flexion, Extension, Rotation right and left, Lateral flexion right and left. We begin sitting, move to all fours and end standing, enjoying the different ranges of movement offered in each position. This can then become a cause for anxiety as the continuous thinking, regretting, planning and worrying will not let us find rest. This bedtime mediation helps clear the head and move that constant flow of mental energy downward so that we can come to rest feeling grounded and perhaps find some space between the thoughts.
