#it's seriously unreal #when i moved to the big city of my dreams my therapist basically concluded i didn't need her help anymore and ghosted me #and obviously that's utter bullshit i would have liked her help even though she's not a very good therapist #but i suppose she was right in that seeds were sewn to help me fight my way into a place i genuinely mostly like being in #i managed to escape toxic (co)dependencies #i knew i'm not good at living alone & found flatmates i really care about and vice versa #i finished my bachelor's and started a master's at a new uni #i show up for subcultures i love and am meeting new people to surround myself all the time #and it's all a process and life can still hurt and i haven't nearly made every experience i want to #but very recently it all clicked with me how far i've come #when something happened to me where i know i usually would have wanted to die #but this time i stayed awake sobbing and grieving yes but i really strongly wanted to be alive and feel all that #and it's so very freeing somehow #what i'm saying is *takes everyone's hands* never kys #not from a high horse but bc i know things get better #tw suicide

idk I just think happy queer stories need to be properly labeled so I can be warned beforehand to not get invested in the main ship because there won't be a culminating catharsis of mutual corruption and self-betrayal crystalizing into an inevitable murder-suicide :/ . like I don't think happy endings in queer media shouldn't be "allowed" to exist or whatever I just think tbh honestly to be honest that those creators need to think and be more responsible and let me have my boundary of nottttt wanting to see that. this is because I feel it's really important for me to see myself represented and reflected positively on screen and the real truth of my lived experience is that I'm gay and evil and I'm not going to make it.
