Intro post

Hello!! I'm Adrian and this is my bird related sideblog :P

General info:

I'm an abro aroacespec genderqueer bird and my pronouns are he/it

I'm autistic and birds have been my special interest for my entire life!!

I literally am physically a bird, and a bird ambitherian and birdhearted as well.

I will be posting & reblogging bird related stuff like, moodboards, fun facts and just bird images in general. I'll also talk about my experience as a bird therian and I might even share my collection of bird stuff!

Bird identity:

I call myself a bird ambitherian and birdhearted because I identify as many birds but not all of them but I do feel very connected to all birds. Some of my identity is definitely caused by my autism but I also feel that my soul is bird-like.

The other part of my identity is from physically being a bird ending up in a human body.

I did a LOT of bird related things as a kid, like making paper wings and masks (I made SO many), I even tried flying by jumping off my couch. Sadly, it didn't work </3

I've been thinking about getting more flowy clothing to mimic the feeling of feathers. I've tried it a couple times and it really helped and it was even better when the colors matched my feather pattern. I'll probably slowly start to implement this as I need more clothes.

I always get a little sad seeing the thriving cetacean community of physical alterhumans and zooanthropes here on tumblr.

I wish we had something like that for us birds, or that I could go swim with them.

I love them. They are my mutuals. They are my friends. They are the people who have taught me so many things, and helped me through so many hard times.

I don’t know what I want from this post, whether that is they somehow let me come down in a dive suit, or the other birds of tumblr make a better flock, or both. I just know I want a tighter knit community here.

So cetaceans who build their community here, how did you do it? Do you have tips?
