I remember being at school (like in 6th grade) in recess when me and my friends found one. It was sooo gentle and peaceful that my friend decided to adopt it. It ended up escaping his desk. Nobody knows what happened with it. Haven't found a single one since then.

Trying to explain to people for the millionth time that having a gifted child/very talented child does not magically fulfill your role as a parent. It does not make you a better person. That child will suffer. That child will struggle in life as any other and you still have to guide them through it. You still have to sculpt that kid into a mature, prepared adult in society without blaming their "lack of use of intelligence" for their problems.
