$75/month my ass, I live in one of the cheapest states in the US to live in and work my ass off and the CHEAPEST I found was $150 per month, and that was basically the “if you are bleeding out I GUESS we’ll help you but you’ve gotta pay us for uhhhh almost everything” plan

Part of which is due to the fact that despite being a “cheap” state to live in, the government actively blocks any federal health expansion offered to them. This includes Medicare/Medicaid and CHIP benefits. Which just allows for insurance companies to charge whatever they want, because government programs are so limited that they are ridiculously expensive.
