by the way it's fine to like sexual content just for the sake of it. "we can't ban porn because other stuff will get banned" "sometimes nude art has value" "the government will classify queer people as sexual" this is all true but it's okay to just like porn. its okay to not want porn to be banned because you like it.

This is like the “people use birth control medications to treat lots of other health conditions so it’s important we protect their access to it” argument. It’s actually okay for people to take a medication solely for the purpose of having sex without getting pregnant, and access should be protected even on that basis alone.

Tips for Working with Dollies

Avoid sudden loud sounds

Do not raise your voice at Dollies

You may need to remind Dollies to blink or simulate breathing if they are not doing so

If you notice tears on a Dolly's face, gently guide it away from customers to dry storage and leave it be there

Some "awawa"s are to be expected from a Dolly, but notify a manager immediately if "awawa" becomes the only response to stimulus

Do not attempt to stop a Dolly from eating products, including products which are inedible to humans.

Do not leave two or more Dollies together unsupervised during operating hours

If two or more Dollies have been left unsupervised together for any length of time, prepare a degreaser bottle and mop bucket with sanitizer solution, and wait for the Dollies to emerge of their own accord

Do not ask Dollies to handle Drive-Through orders. They do not understand microphones

When I was training to be a battered women’s advocate, my supervisor said something that really blew my mind:

“You can always assume one thing about your clients; and that is that they are doing their best. Always assume everyone is doing their best. And if they’re having a day where their best just isn’t that great, or their best doesn’t look like your best, you have to be okay with that.”

Any now whenever anyone in my life, either a friend or a client, frustrates me, disappoints me, or pisses me off, I just tell myself They are doing their best. Their best isn’t that great today, but I have days where my best isn’t that great either.
