D&D 5e Character Creation Flow Charts: Backgrounds and Classes This only includes the backgrounds included in the Player’s Handbook Mind you, so no SCAG options. Class one doesn’t assume archetype obviously.  A fun little project I made after work today, I thought it might be helpful for players newer to the system in choosing their character’s options, or just a fun little tool.

Back in middle school, my friends and I used a very simple coded language for writing secret messages. I saw some posts about needing to hide one’s beliefs from partners/bosses/parents so I wanted to share it with you! These would also be great to incorporate into sigils since they are simple lines and dots.

Totally different person but about voice therapy, once you reach your goal sound, do you have to continue "exercising" your vocal chords after that? A lot of the info I've read has me confused on this and I'd like to know for when I finally can do voice therapy

First, let’s break down what you call [sound], there are 2 things you need to focus on, pitch (generally how far up your voice goes) and resonance (the variation in the voice, often described as richness or voice flavour).

Start out working on the pitch as that’s where you literally have to build the muscles around your vocal cords. Once you reach a pitch you want to keep, that’s where most of the work starts as your vocal cords are not used to be talking that high. Practice, practice, practice, using that pitch, making it your new normal.

Take breaks! If you start to feel tired or irritated in your vocal cords, stop immediately!! Over-doing voice practice might lead to voice fatigue where you may permanently or long term damage your vocal cords, you do not want that. 

Eventually, you’ll take to using this pitch by default whenever you open your mouth to say something, without having to think about it. That’s good! When you’ve come this far and your voice stops breaking when using it (Note: Your voice WILL break a lot wile you are getting used to the new pitch, and it WILL sound horrible some times) you don’t have to do active pitch training any more.

So, practice pitch until your voice stops breaking. Keep practising until you can use that pitch without feeling strained or tired. With enough practice, your vocal cords will get used to the new pitch and it will just be your new default pitch without the risk of developing voice fatigue.

Next up is resonance, but I’ll not go in details of that now. Training pitch alone is going to take months, I’d say start with that. Good luck!

Gregorovic - 1st “Hour” duo

Okay so we sucked at Gregorovic a few days ago.

Mmkill had it as her Reaper Assignment and it took us a full hour to kill 17. We had to bank twice and I died once.

Mostly it was due to a serious lack of understanding in how the boss worked. In hindsight going in relatively blind and trying to learn as we went really messed us up. 

I will learn to kill Greg, but the trip felt unproductive.

99.9% AFK Combat via Ork’s in GWD1 - 435k xp/hour

Yes I should train combat with slayer... but this method is almost entirely afk.

What: Nearly 100% AFK combat xp. Where: God Wars Dungeon 1 at Orks Why:  Zero clicking required! 

This works with melee, ranged and mage.  

How;  Not Dying: Soul split + bonecrusher + neckalce = Infinite HP. Not Moving: Orks auto agro if an ork near them dies no matter how long you have been there. Turn on auto-retaliate, kill an ork and you will never have to click them again. Not Clicking: You don’t actually have to click on Runescape to prevent auto lobby. Merely moving your mouse over the screen, even if it is not the active window, resets it!

Alt+1 Toolkit doesn’t understand this however, so you might have to use some other method like http://time-time.net/timer/countdown-timer.php 

XP Gained

Attack/Strength/Magic/Ranged/Defence: 326k Constitution: 107k Prayer: 5k Agility: 46k (via Silverhawk Boots)

Total XP/Hour: 484k

You will also get invention XP... but I don’t know how to calculate that :( If anyone could help that would be great!

Gear

You only need infinite HP via Bonecrusher from slayer, Soul Split curse from questing and one of the prayer necklaces from dungeoneering (twisted bird necklace, split dragontooth necklace or demon horn necklace)

I use zero consumable items, although if you are using magic or ranged you would either need to supply ammo/runes or use items that make their own such as the attuned crystal bow and the Armadyl battlestaff.

Taking food, prayer potions and a penance aura is a good idea anyway. That way should you accidentally lobby / stop attacking and run low on prayer or hp  you can get straight back to it.

Other Cool Benefits

You can get the Bandos Warpriest armour from the orks and also both Easy and Hard clue scrolls!
