All right, I am determined to finish ficbinding that I’ve had for almost a year! Starting with author and illustrator copies of The Long View Down.

I messed up the cover on one of the new binds for this one, so the illustrator is getting the original copy I bound in 2024 and the writer is getting a new bind from this month. I included thank you cards and a zine I made of some of my favorite Kim moments where he is extremely normal.

I love the logo stamp my friend made for me.

This project was unfortunately on hold for months because my library, which was my only printing resource, changed the way they format prints; I couldn’t get anything to print the right way up. It was so frustrating! I’m not willing to pay for prints at FedEx or whatever, plus I’ve been wanting to expand my zine offerings (which are original stories/poems/essays), so I saved up for a printer! Bought one in January 2026 and now I can print in COLOR. I’m excited!

I went a little wild and have 6 more printed binds all stitched up and ready for covers. I got tape today for a really small (only 3 signatures) ficbind, which may be my first soft-cover binding project if I can figure out how to print on cardstock or something. More projects to come! I’m feeling inspired this Binderary!
