If you are as disgusted as I am about the witch hunt against Hudson Williams, here are some things you can productively channel that energy into:
Positive engagements with his socials (those metrics will show that he's still got the fans with him)
YouTube channel - subscribe and like / leave comments on the short films
Instagram - follow and leave positive comments / likes on his posts
2. Positive engagement with the brands he's associated with (these metrics will help him find further contracts)
Don't leave stupid comments for Peloton - if you write anything, remain enthusiastic and grateful about the ad (it's likely a scheduled end, not a cancellation)
Do comment on other brands - Met look, Balenciaga, bvlgari positively
3. Positive engagement with restaurants/ clothing lines that posts about him.
Give your clicks and likes, show that he's creating momentum with the smallest things
4. Positive engagement with show of support (no matter how understated - please acknowledge those that tried to help)
Repost the CSA post from yesterday and maybe leave a like and positive comment
Repost comments from the industry that praise him for being respectful and wonderful person
Reposts positive tiktok edits, etc.
5. Boost articles that give a balanced view of the situation and draw attention to the hate campaign, but do not engage with clickbait stuff
6. Post about his upcoming projects
Post about Yaga or Heated Rivalry S2 in a positive way.
7. Do not feed the trolls
If you see burner accounts / hateful people spreading pics, fake narratives, Hudson hate in the tags or in comments - record, report, block.
Don't give them your platform. Don't post their hateful asks. Don't post links they want you to spread around. Don't give them your engagement.
8. Don't hate on the "other side"
we don't know who is behind this, so don't go after other actors. They are not responsible for their fans' behavior.
If the fan behavior or disgusting comments means you don't want to hype them at the moment, it's fine. Mute/ignore their tags and focus on whatever sparks joy. Think about how you'd want Hudson to be treated by people who don't stan him and model that behavior.
I think he'll be fine either way, but how his fans react also matters.
