A few hours after high school graduation, Finn and Blaise snuck away from their respective graduation parties, stole alcohol from their parents' kitchens, and met up at the cemetery. They drank, joked around, and ghost hunted. When they got too tipsy to ghost hunt, they rested on the steps of the mausoleum and chatted for hours about everything and nothing. Then, eventually, they each went home. The next morning, Finn was greeted by his mother in the kitchen. Instead of being yelled at for getting drunk, like he'd expected, his mother sat him down and told him some bad news. Blaise had been found dead on his bathroom floor, with bleeding wrists and an empty bottle of his mom's sleeping pills. Even now, at 22, Finn still searches for him, trying everything possible to come into contact with Blaise's spirit. He hasn't touched alcohol again.
