Howdy!!

Making an intro post after years of having this blog, lmao This is my art & fandom blog, so expect mostly my drawings (of wildly inconsistent quality) and promo for fandom events on here! I mostly post in these fandoms: - Red Dead Redemption - A Song of Ice and Fire/ Game of Thrones - The Lord of the Rings - BBC Merlin But a few other fandoms may slip in there every now and then :)

Multifandom Event Promo: Unsent Letters Exchange

(Not an event mod, just want to promo the event over here bc I think it's a very fun format!)

To quote the Event's Dreamwidth:

Participants will write, and receive, a complete fic of at least 1000 words focusing on in-universe correspondence written by a requested character, either intended for, about, or read by another requested character. At least 500 words must be in a requested epistolary format. The letters do not actually need to be unsent.

Correspondence includes: letters, emails, voicemail transcripts, journals, publications, and other public/private written communications.

You can find the sign up form here ! Feel free to be as long or brief, specific or vague as you like, and to be honest about your likes and dislikes! This is a positive event that's open to every kind of ship and content.

The minimum requirement is to request three relationships (platonic or romantic, in GoT or ASOIAF or across both) and offer four.

Minimum fic lenght is 500 words, with the option to give and receive art as well. Everyone who signs up and posts a gift is guaranteed a gift in return! Schedule is as follows:

Red Dead Redemption Rarepair Event Interest Check!

Hello Friends and Fellow Fans! I've had an idea for a rarepair-centric Red Dead event churning around for a while, since I love rarepairs a lot and always love to see more fannish works made for them! I have finally put together an interest form, to see if y'all would like to participate!

This form will be open for the next few months, and an event would start next year most likely, so I have time to really get it streamlined and organized. With that in mind I would love to hear your thoughts!

On the form, I have specified what I am defining as a 'rarepair' for this event, and have a broad range of questions and textboxes for other input. You may edit your responses, and your email info will not be saved (the form is totally anonymous on my end). If you have any further questions, my Tumblr dms (@reddeadrarepair) are open! Feel free to share this link around outside of this post! I am not in any RDR-Specific online communities, so if you are and would like to share the form in there, please do so! As much input as I can get on this event, I will appreciate!

Anyone who didn't participate in the Theon Fic Exchange officially this year but wanted to (or was too nervous or just missed the participation deadline or whatever else!), here is the "treats" list if you wanted to unofficially participate :D Here are the relaxed rules for treats from @theonficexchange's rules: TREATS

After the deadline for assignments has passed, we will post a link to a list of everyone’s requests. Everyone is allowed and encouraged to write additional fics (or draw art where it’s requested) for any other participant in the exchange.

You do not need to be signed up for the exchange to write treats.

Please post treats to the same collection as assignments.

There is no minimum wordcount requirement for treats, however all other rules regarding DNWs, highest ratings and requested fandoms/ships still apply.

Here's my fic for @bbcmerlin-reversebang, a Merlin/Mithian fic inspired by @ummyesisthisjasongrace's amazing fanvid!!!

Rating: T Pairing: Merlin/Mithian Summary:

Merlin is enamored with Mithian the moment he sets his eyes on her. But she has eyes for Arthur, and he seems to like her right back, despite what Merlin knows of his true heart's desire. But as the years pass and Morgana grows more powerful and desperate to throw her forces against Arthur, Mithian and Merlin find their wills tested, and their affections for one another complicating the battling forces that threaten them. -------------------- Or, The Hunter's Heart and Another's Sorrow, told as a love story between a manservant of Camelot and the Princess of Nemeth.

First time joining a Merlin event and it's been a pleasure drawing for @zorbojorks though unfortunately their fic isn't quite ready yet, but I'm excited to read it when it is and link it here. Hopefully you can enjoy the art in the mean time!

It's a post-canon story of Morgana and Merlin through different centuries until present day.
