The whole Fat Baby Shane thing made me convinced Shane and Ilya have the biggest fattest babies ever. I don't care if they adopt or have a surrogate or Shane gets pregnant I just know their kids end up being monster babies and it would be insane except theyre both big beefy hockey players so the babies look almost normal when theyre held by them. The internet has a field day comparing pictures of Ilya holding them(in which they look like slightly bigger than normal babies) and Yuna holding them(in which the babies look like an area 51 project). Shane and Ilya still think theyre so little and honestly not heavy at all(see: big beefy hockey players) so theyre completely confused when anyone mentions that theyre gigantic. When Ilya does recognize that theyre like 95th percentile babies he is very proud

Here's another bit from the time travel fic where adult Ilya meets Irina in 1999.

They divide the work the same way they once did when preparing sweets for Easter: Ilya cutting out the cookies with the singular, heart-shaped cookie cutter they own, and Irina carefully moving them onto the baking tray. She compares how her little Ilya handles the cutter clumsily to this adult Ilya, whose big hands can easily cover metal heart shape. That's when she notices it: a shiny band on his index finger. “You're married!” she exclaims. Such a relief. It means that he's not alone. There is someone that takes care of him. “Yes.” His smile takes a different shape. Softer. He must really love her. Good. They are not another, newer version of her and Grigori. They can't be. “She is very lucky.” He looks down, like cutting hearts in the dough suddenly requires a lot of focus. Is he... shy? “I am the one who's lucky.” Sweet boy. Even though he's not exactly a boy anymore. He must be around the same age as her.

I accidentally did a Wikipedia binge about 1st wave feminism and fashion and stumbled upon the 1890s bicycle suit. Do people know about this? Why didn't anyone tell me about this? This is dope as hell.

It's old-fashioned. It's modern. It's butch. It's femme. It's snazzy. It's practical.

Wikipedia talks about the bloomers and the leg-o-mutton sleeves, but I'm also noticing a lot of these outfits have absolute supervillain lapels, which I also like a lot.
