One of my watercolor assignments was to do a series based off a narrative, fictional or non. We got it right around blacklivesmatter being all over, so I did pieces based off that. Black lives matter is a cause really close to my heart, as a white passing mixed raced kid, I get to see how differently I'm treated to many in my community just because I look white. It's absured, and that divid should never exist.
