Since their goigg back to Wakefield, If Jack registered that, it would genuinely kill me if he reunites with Warg, chatting, and after a bit decides to bite he bullet and just ask if Bardle was simply using him to defeat Rezzoch. If she knew anything about it for her to just tell him, cuz he *needs* to know. He needs to know if Bardle atleast cared just a bit in his own way or if all he sae in Jack was a tool.
In a whole im OBSESSED with the monsters. If im able to up my writing skills i will 100% write about it. The idea of beings who dony have the concepy of "love", then being introduced to beingd that infact DO love and love in a number of ways and are all about comunity makes me nuts. For them, even if they dont fully understand why, to LEARN TO LOVE.
In my personal opinion, does Bardle Love Jack like hes his kid? Absolutely not. But i do think he has some sort of bond. He may be a father figure to Jack, but i dont think Jacks a son-figure to him, yknow? Its more like when your at a family gathering and have those young weird nephews that you kind of vibe with, but god forbid you spend too much time with them. Because even though monsters are civilized, i think their concept of "children" is just "younger, weaker, a bit dumber but gotta protect them cuz next generation". Yeah parents love them, but the same way animals in the wild do. But considering Wargs existence, this is merely a cultural thing. The "normal". Their not incappable of it, but it dosent necesarilly seems like a useful thing.
I really need to either find a story or write one on how the kids qould contrast the monsters so much. Bardle not quite understanding why Jack kept sharing stuff 24/7 and making a effort to greet him when possible, the monsters not getting why they seemed to be so sensitive.
Like deadass, lets say Bardle dosent die, what on earth would he do if he witnessed Jack just breaking down because of all of it? Would he have a small idea because of past interactions with Warg? Would he be pathetically confused and just staring at him like he grew a third head? And what if Jack instead of consulting Warg about his questions, snapped at Bardle about it instead? What would he do being confronted with emotions he didnt understand???? Or if we wanna go a bit higher, what if Warg or Jack died?????
Globlet seems to hang out with June a bunch, and seems to be the most out there. So if she ever talked with June about anything, maybe she would be one of the firs tot kind of get it and go "oh yeah that would definitely suck".
I need these monsters fighting emotions they cant regulate i NEED THEM STRUGGLING!!!!!!
On a funnier note, though. With them not getting much of the "these are just kids" culture, there orobably the funnest adults to be around aswell.
Both Skaelka and Bardle have piercings, it would be amazing Jack just going up to Bardle "Supman how ya doing anyway can you pierce my ear?" And Bardle not even giving it a second thought because why not? Anyway now Jack has cool ear piercings that may or may mot get infected since Bardle used weird ass magic shit to hold the way too long sharp monster knife thats just a glorified needle.
The monsters not getting why none of them wanna particioate in the fun "battle of death" game while one monster is just bleeding on the floor still fighting happily
