Uh... When I was younger my father would yell alot and there was this time where me and my older brother and sister were hiding in my brother's room, which was the basement. At the time, I hadn't realized what was happening because my brother was playing games with me on his playstation. As I remember it, there was loud crash, then the sound of my mom screaming.

I can’t remember any of Covid years from the concussions I got around that time. My memory is spotty from some minor concussions throughout my life, I have a hard time remembering small things.

I’ve had people try to poison me with things that I’m allergic to

I lost most of my grandparents by 13. The only one left (by blood) is in the hospital and only cares about my aunts kids.

The only grandparents who actually loved me were the ones I chose.

My dad beat me until I was 17, I have gotten multiple broken noses and concussions

Every night, I go out between 8 and 9pm to check on the birds before my own bedtime. Their lights go off at 7 automatically, except for Bug's light (which I turn off early most nights, but stays on if I'm not home) and the quail light (which goes off at 8, hence why final check is after 8). I make sure the babies are on their roost instead of the floor, and then I go bring a little glowing bowl of water to Bug and Mantis and make sure they're up on the right perch (the one that has heat).

Mantis expects this. Mantis expects this SO MUCH that if I go out there without water and hold my hand up, she will just make drinking motions in the air and then make the annoyed noise when she has not managed to drink anything. This expectation is reasonable, to be honest, as she has (almost) always received glowing fancy drinkies at bedtime from when she hatched on. She knows no other world than one in which she is spoiled rotten.

Bug has not! Bug usually drinks and eats before bed. She enjoys bedtime drinkies but they are still a little bit of a surprise.

But TONIGHT, I brought out a mini soda bottle and the bowl and I took a few seconds longer to hold it up because I was pouring it into the bowl (rather than trying to balance a bowl across the snowy terrain without soaking my hands), and both of them were tippy tapping on the edge of the perch like they were gonna climb off it onto me to drink. Bug stretched wayyyy out and started making drinking motions in midair like a fool. She was stretched so far out she almost fell off the perch. And then they both shoved their whole faces into the bowl like it was the best water in the entire world.

I'm crying laughing at this point, because seriously I was JUST out here at lights out, I made sure both of these birds ate and drank well before I left, and I left fresh water when I went! So it's not like they were acting like they'd never ever ever had water in their entire lives because it was true. But they sure could have fooled me if I didn't know better.

I saved screenshots of her blog and last message to the world. Her parents had a lot of control over how she was perceived after her death, but it was also to prevent deletion by Tumblr itself. Even back then, Tumblr has been shadow banning trans women on this platform.

My heart goes out to all trans women who are struggling with society's expectations of who they are supposed to be and who they are allowed to be. I can't get over the Elon Epstein thing because like. Dude is in the clear. It's glaringly obvious that he never got invited to a pedo party, he kept begging to get invited thinking it was something else to the point where Epstein had to be like "no you are not understanding what kind of party this is" and had to get people to make excuses to avoid him. He was obviously rejected from this club by people who thought he was a loser, and the one thing that Elon Musk cannot stand is people thinking he's a loser and excluding him from things. So he WILL NOT SHUT UP about how he totally could've gotten into all the cool child sex parties if he had've wanted to. He keeps ranting about how the reason he didn't go is because he CHOSE to, because he doesn't sexually abuse children and because he was doing IMPORTANT things like launching space rockets, but they totally actually wanted him to go and he could've gone and if he was a child rapist then he'd be the BEST child rapist, way better and cooler than all the other child rapists, he just chose not to be.

The only way to be able to continue watching the videos you want on YouTube if you've been falsley flagged as a minor by their AI is to give YouTube your government ID. This is being implemented in the US right now. It is essential to rage against this and put YouTube in the fucking ground if they continue with it—that may be the only way to make them backtrack. host is usually a title for the alter that fronts the most often. we’ve had a couple of times where our host has changed. i’d say it really depends on the alter and how they interpret the meaning of host; for me it just means that i have to take care of daily life and that i’m out here the most.

hi sorry for such a late response!

a headspace is essentially where alters stay when they aren’t fronting. it works differently for everyone, but for us it’s almost like everyone has their own little room.

yeah we have alters that vary ages! sometimes we can find that out based on appearances and certain mannerisms they might display. for example i’m 20 but frederick is 30 (to be fair he is also a fictive and thas his source age).
