greta thunberg, liam cunningham, rima hassan, and everyone else on that ship, thank you, and i hope you succeed. i really hope you succeed. you know what you are risking, and i wish for you to come back safely, having done what you set out to do.
for those who don't know, the freedom fretilla, a ship headed to gaza to try and get some aid past the israeli siege, just left with among its crew swedish activist greta thunberg, irish actor liam cunningham, and french member of the european parliament rima hassan.
the ship has already been bombed twice during previous attempts at approaching gaza.
my only hope is that if we make enough noise this time, israel won't dare bomb it with such prominent international figures on board, from fear of making them martyrs and turning the rest of the world against them.
so talk about it, post about it, and expect, demand their mission to succeed and their safe return 🙏
the only power we have is political and economic pressure at this point. ethics are out of the picture when it comes to the israeli government. so we need to make it clear that bombing this ship would be a declaration of war against europe.
Organizers say climate campaigner Greta Thunberg and other 11 activists set sail on Sunday afternoon for Gaza on a ship aimed at “breaking I
The 12-person crew, which includes climate activist Greta Thunberg, expects to take seven days to reach Gaza.
^^ if folks would like to read up !!

Jonathan Joss being murdered in a hate crime and the cops saying there was ‘no evidence’ it was a homophobic hate crime despite the witness testimony from his husband who watched him be murdered is grotesque beyond words.
San Antonio PD, when someone harasses their gay neighbors for years, said couple’s house ‘mysteriously’ burns down and the neighbor screams homophobic slurs before opening fire on them when they return to check the mail, there is some strong circumstantial evidence there was more at play here than a ‘neighborly altercation’.
We are heartbroken to share the tragic news of the death of Jonathan Joss—beloved actor, artist, and gay icon—who was fatally shot on June 1, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was 59 years old. Authorities are investigating the possibility of a hate crime.
Jonathan, of Comanche and White Mountain Apache heritage, rose to fame as the voice of John Redcorn on King of the Hill and appeared in acclaimed films such as The Magnificent Seven and True Grit. Beyond his screen work, he was a tireless advocate for Native sovereignty, queer visibility, and authentic representation.
In recent years, Jonathan came out publicly as a gay man and remained fiercely proud of both his Indigenous and queer identities. He is survived by his husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, with whom he shared a life rooted in love, art, and community.
Jonathan’s legacy is one of courage, truth, and unapologetic presence. His impact on two-spirit and LGBTQ+ Indigenous youth—and on all of us who saw ourselves in his work—cannot be overstated.
We mourn his loss. We honor his voice. We demand justice. Rest in power, Jonathan Joss. You are remembered. You are loved.
Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales, husband of Jonathan Joss
"My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.
Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.
When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.
While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.
Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.
Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.
He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.
I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.
To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.
My focus now is on protecting Jonathan's legacy and honoring the life we built together.
If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband.
Jonathan saved my life. l will carry that forward. I will protect what he built."
Please, I Beg You To Read This. The latest report shows that over 65,000 children in Gaza are facing death due to starvation. This is not just a number—it is real, it is now. My little boy Qais is one of them. He was already injured in the war, and now he is slowly starving. I am terrified every day that I might wake up and find him gone. We desperately need your help and donations to save his life before it's too late.
Life in Gaza has become unbearable for mothers like me:
1. There is no food—even basic bread is rare, and we go to sleep hungry.
2. There is no clean water—I boil dirty water and pray it doesn’t make Qais sicker.
3. There is no medicine—not even for babies, not even for war wounds.
I am on my knees asking you to help. Please don’t turn away. I will do anything—I would clean your shoes, kiss your feet, just to get help for my child. Your donation could be the only reason Qais survives this. Even a few dollars can mean food, medicine, or hope. Please, help us before it’s too late.
No mother should have to watch her baby starve. Please, help us.
Donate Now Here
I don’t want to lose my child to hunger. I am doing everything I can, but it’s not enough. If you have anything to give, please donate to help Qais. Your kindness could be the reason he survives.

There may be no reason for you to notice me, but I am ready to kiss your feet in exchange for helping my little boy, Qais, who was injured in the war on Gaza. You are our last and only hope to save his life 😭💔😔
Hi friend,
I’m Esraa from Gaza. As the war resumes, my family and I are enduring unimaginable suffering. We urgently need food, safety, and basic necessities. Even the smallest act of kindness could make a world of difference.
Please, help us in any way you can 🇵🇸💔.
