My next Black History Month request:
Pick one of James Baldwin's works and read it!!! The Fire Next Time is an excellent essay, most of us are familiar with the quote on gay white people from The Last Interview but not the rest of it. If Beale Street Could Talk even has a movie!
check out some of baldwin’s lover lifelong roommate, Beauford Delaney’s artwork as well. my sister and i once spent an entire day in a pop up museum dedicated to his artwork and i think about him constantly. here are some of my favorites.

the josten-minyard rivalry but neil’s playing pro and andrew is retired. andrew shows up to every one of neil’s games but in the opposing teams’ jersey. when asked about it, andrew says “im a professional hater.”
An icon. Any time Matt goes to one of Neil's games (obviously wearing a Josten jersey) he purposefully finds Andrew and sits next to him . There are a lot of shots of Matt going BuckWild in the stands next to Andrew and, if you zoom in enough, you can see the smallest Lilt to Andrew's lips.
