Too much, But Good
Smores Pie, Coconut Sorbet, and Strawberry Puree Syrup. On a cruise ship you can eat about anything at anytime, so why not dessert for lunch?
MOT 32 - Good Chinese
Yes, it is a little on the pricey side, but not out of line for Downtown Vancouver. And the food is awesome. Tasty, well-presented, with novel combinations.
There are eight of these in the world. The original is in Hong Kong. The one in Singapore may be best known. There are two in North America, this one in Vancouver, and one in Las Vegas.
The BBQ Short Rib was probably our favorite, followed by the Peking Duck salad, but everything was good.
Dough Zone
We were recommended to try Dough Zone for dim sum in Seattle Chinatown - our regular place there is Harbor City (followed by Fuji Bakery.)
It was crowded, and there was a wait, but they had a good queue system and the food was quite good. A very popular place.
One cautionary note - make sure you scan the right Q-code if you park in the parking lot. One is for the street parking only.
Spam and Eggs
Don't laugh. It was good, with a little nori and black sesame over sticky rice. We were in Seattle visiting the Washington State Arboretum and were looking for a decent brunch afterward in an expensive neighborhood, and found the Cheeky Café. Plenty of options and plenty to eat, and it was all good.
West Seattle Thai
Buddha Ruska is good food at a good price squeezed into a small space that is highly regarded by the locals - for good reason. Good textures, flavors, and aromas. We enjoyed it all.
VooDoo
We shouldn't have, but we did. VooDoo Doughnuts in downtown Portland, Oregon. Everything disappeared quickly.
It's All Good
Really enjoyed a stop in downtown Portland, Oregon for Thai food at Khao San. Was in town to stop in at Powell's Books and spend some time in Washington Park. Easy to find, just off I-405 at the edge of the entertainment district. Everything looked good, and tasted as good as it looked. Ate so well we had to save our dessert for breakfast.
Ghiradelli chocolate brownie with home-
made coconut milk ice cream flavored with rum and vanilla bean, candied walnuts, and a warm blackberry, blueberry, rasberry topping, dusted with toasted cinnamon.

About 30 minutes
Lemon Pepper Chicken
Chicken thighs with bermuda onion, mint, basil, oregano and lemon, served with fresh taboleh with parsley from the garden, and sauteed zuchini strings.
About 30 minutes.
Bananas Foster
If you have ripe, or maybe over-ripe bananas, making Bananas Foster or any variation thereof is a treat.
As shown: Manzano bananas sliced and pan sauteed in canola oil, with a tablespoon of brown sugar and a dash of rum (Old Oak if you have it), over left-over french toast made from home-made sourdough bread.
About 10 minutes to make.
