As someone who lives with BPD, I can tell you that one of the most important things is making time for yourself and prioritizing your own well-being in whatever way helps keep you stable and distracts you from overwhelming thoughts.
The truth is, you need to stay busy.
Go to the hairdresser, get your nails done, walk your dog, read a book, sing, write, clean your home, find a job—do whatever brings structure, comfort, or purpose into your life.
Put yourself first. Focus on your growth. Don’t keep looking back.
