HI THERE! I'm Bonnie (or Bonny, or Bon, or Bonnibel, or Belle, my friends call me a lot of things).

This right here is my main & currently only blog, I reblog everything and anything that I agree with or like or wanna say something on which can & will include potentially NSFW works, you've been warned.

I also post my art sometimes which you can find by searching #aachenart (not to be confused with art within the city of Aachen). You can also read my thoughts on the tag #raamble. If I ever get around to it I might make my profile less cluttered but uhh.. no promises.

I kind of do a lot of things and people tend to say I'm good at trivia.

Yesterday I was at my local antique store and I was chatting with the owner, with whom I've been acquainted for nearly a decade because I love buying people's used junk and I'm always in there, and he revealed that he has a husband who loves Victorian furniture.

I once had a student worker grill me for 10min (haha, a pune) about how I made steak because I said it was all overrated.

What cuts have you had? How were they cooked? You’re not just overcooking them? What about filets? Seasoning?

My dad went through a weird steakhouse phase. I’ve had several obscenely expensive steaks that I’m sure were very nicely prepared. I’d still rather have a Reuben, or one of my homemade breakfast sandwiches.

it sucks that the overwhelming majority of medical messaging around salt/sodium is "evil poisonous substance that you're definitely already eating way too much of," because like. you do still need it. (trust me, as a POTS-haver, I've had to completely rewire my own brain about salt.) and you need more salt when the entire northern hemisphere is hot enough to fry an egg on. ever tried sucking down the recommended 64oz of hydration per day entirely as water, only to find you're peeing constantly without any of the purported benefits of being "hydrated"? assuming you don't have another medical condition that causes frequent urination, your body probably needed more salt/electrolytes to be able to hold onto that water and make use of it. if there was ever a time to keep a sports drink/pedialyte/etc within constant reach, it's when the heat index is 110°F/43°C.
