somewhere in the United States right now is the first woman president. she is watching this unfold and she is making plans.
Planned Parenthood has been here for 100 years, and one thing is clear: We will never back down and we will never stop fighting to ensure that Planned Parenthood patients have access to the care they need and for the people who come from communities that need our continued support in this new reality.
Many of the people Planned Parenthood health centers serve may be concerned about their safety, and the safety of their families and friends. We will support our immigrant, Muslim, Black and Latinx colleagues, partners and patients in the face of threats made over the last several months.
Health care should not be political. Every morning, Planned Parenthood health center staff across the country wake up and open their doors, as they have this morning, to care for anyone who needs them, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, income, or country of origin. They will do so today, they will do so tomorrow, they will do so every day as they have for 100 years.

other orgs you can help by volunteering/donating: campaign zero (anti police violence) // council on american-islamic relations (support for muslims) // showing up for racial justice (fighting racism) // friends of the earth (an environmental group) // nextgen climate action (fighting climate change) // rape, abuse, & incest national network (combating sexual violence) // planned parenthood (healthcare and education)

The world @ America.
So many things kill me in this video:
1. How she just tappin random buttons in the beginning
2. How she says “I am confusion”
3. The way she says “explain”
I thought I’d lost this forever. I will forever reblog.

me @ half of the united states
I hate ya’ll.
When Donald Trump repeals Obamacare, people are going to die. When Donald Trump defunds Planned Parenthood, people are going to die. When Donald Trump refuses to pass gun control laws, people are going to die. When Donald Trump implements crazy border control policies, people are going to die.
If you didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton because she’s “still bad,” fuck you. There are no other words to say: FUCK. YOU.
yes I do hate trump supporters. i don’t care who they are as individuals. once you put your support behind a disgusting sexist racist xenophobic homophobic oversized cheeto man with a $3 toupee you automatically are saying you do not care about minorities or the poor or women. you are automatically giving your vote to a man who will monumentally fuck up years of progression and work towards equality. you are as bad as he is. so yes. I hate all trump supporters.
positive election news: tammy duckworth won and will be the first thai-american senator
and kamala harris won and is going to be the first black female senator since 1999
oregon elected kate brown and she will be the first ever openly lgbtqa governor in us history
catherine cortez masto won and will be the first ever latina us senator
You can definitely retire the “white old cishet male” as synonymous with racism in America not that they aren’t, but bitch young white people, gay white men, white women etc. all voted trump. And we knew they would.
if it’s not you in my heart, then I don’t want to carry it on
