Bi - not a safe space for TERFs - she/her and they/them pronouns (you can use abbit or Lamb- though Lamb is preferable) Also any moots coming from twitter— I apologize now for how many political things I reblog
I realize I’ve never made a post to pin as kind of an introduction and with how twitter is looking it might be a good idea to introduce myself a little more throughly lol.
I’m lamb! Seriously please call me lamb- the abbit thing is from when I was like 13. Anyways- I use she/they and I’m a multi-medium artist with a focus in metalsmithing/jewelry!
I reblog of stuff from ghost, cottagecore, political things, and what might make me chuckle. So you’ll see a range of things on here.
I’m passively part of a lot of fandoms but the main communities I consider myself a part of are the Ghost, Furry, and Sneegsnag communities. Feel free to ask me stuff that you see I reblog and I’ll happily talk about it or my like involvement lmao.
I don’t have a DNI really? But uhh yeah feel free to ask me stuff about anything! I don’t bite I promise <3

Hello, My name is Mosab Elderawi, and I live in Gaza with my family. Life here has become harder than I ever imagined, and I’m writing this with hope in my heart that you might hear our story.
The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.

We are now facing daily challenges to survive—things that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.
Our Current Situation:
💔 Lost Stability: The war has left us without work or a stable source of income. 🍞 Basic Needs: Food and water are becoming harder to afford with rising prices and scarce resources. 📚 Dreams on Hold: Like so many here, my family’s dreams have been replaced by the need to simply survive. 😢 Unimaginable Loss: Losing 25 loved ones has left a void that can never be filled.
How You Can Help:
I’m sharing our story with the hope that someone out there might care. Even $5 can make a big difference for us, and if you’re unable to donate, just reblogging this post can help spread the word.
Your kindness, no matter how small, is something we’ll never forget.
What This Means to Us:
Your support is not about changing our entire situation—it’s about giving us a little relief, a little hope, and a way to keep going. We are not asking for much, and we understand if you can’t donate. Sharing our story is just as valuable to us as a donation.
Thank you for reading this far. It means the world to us to know that someone is listening. Your kindness gives us strength and helps us believe in a better tomorrow.
With all our gratitude, Mosab Elderawi and Family ❤️

Hello Everyone, I am Mosab Suleiman Al Derawi, 28 years old, my wife Nadine Adel A… Mosab Derawi needs your support for Help me saving who's
This is so hard to get past but I promise you it is worth it. I went back to school at 26 and graduated at 29. I now have a great job that I love. Life doesn't end just because you age.
If you want to read an academic article that's behind a paywall just email the author and ask politely if they will send you the article. Most academics will be thrilled that you want to read their work and will gladly send it to you.
I emailed to ask a Harvard researcher and advocate for intersex rights for access to one paper and she sent me seven plus additional resources and permission to stay in touch. Ask for papers!
Anybody has that political cartoon of an angry rich man watching TV while his servants are all sneaking peeks at it during their work and smiling? A bunch of googling resulted in nothing.
I believe the original context was Bernie Sanders winning some primaries but I feel like it's even more relevant nowadays.
every year around christmas me and my grandma play this fun family game called “maybe you want to put jesus in your room instead, sweetie? :)”. now, it’s important to note that the jesus referred to in our game is not actually the real jesus christ, but instead a wooden figure i made in 2011 that has an uncanny resemblance to the lord and savior himself
so what happens is that i place jesus in our living room, and my grandma smiles and asks me if i don’t want to decorate my room with him instead. i ask her in return if she thinks my jesus figure is ugly (which he is), but she reassures me that this is not the case. however, a couple of days later jesus mysteriously disappears from our living room, and appear in my room instead
now, the real jesus christ might have been able to perform a miracle like this, but please remember that the jesus in our story is only a figure made out of wood. he can not move on his own, so i think we can safely say that my grandma is the prime suspect here
the first year i would often confront my grandma about this, but she would always make up an excuse and never straight up tell me she moved him because he’s so ugly it’s an embarrassment to the family
eventually i grew tired of her lies, so now we only move jesus around in silence. one second he’s in the living room, the next he’s back in my room. in a way i think this adds an extra element of excitement to the holiday season, because you never know for sure when jesus is going to be moved again
banking is weird. literally an industry that exists to create money out of thin air. money which governments already create out of thin air. but banking did it first, centuries before that was something governments could reliably do.
money is such an interesting thing. Massive decentralized method of social coordination. Lots of flaws. Obviously markets are deeply flawed in many ways. But money is like this weird optical illusion where the harder you try to stare at it the slipperier it gets and you realize the thing it’s for, deep down, is getting stuff to move around (and getting people to do things). And in terms of a mechanism to do that it is one of the most efficient ones humans have ever devised. Much easier than proclaiming yourself god-king and threatening people one by one at spear point, for instance.
Money (now) is a future claim on the productive capacity of society, that is transferable. On this basis a UBI is simply a minimum claim granted to everybody who is a member of that society.
babe. I know we’re all going thru a lot rn but I just wanna give u the heads up that sesame streets future is in jeopardy. hbo has chosen not to renew it for new episodes (a series that has been going since 1969) and the residents of 123 Sesame Street no longer have a home :(
n all seriousness sesame street is such an important piece of living media. it has been around for DECADES and from day 1 highlighted the importance of diversity empathy and education for children in a fun way. their mission statement is “Helping Kids Everywhere Grow Smarter, Stronger, and Kinder”. it’s been such an influence for so many people at a formative age. it’s creators made it w the intention that it could be a resource for underprivileged kids and help them prepare for kindergarten. thousands of people have learned english from our friends on sesame. pls (at media corporations) don’t let a beloved cultural phenomenon die
”match my freak” match my melancholy. be nostalgic about a past you weren’t even that happy in. find something to be haunted about throughout every second of your day
why are all these modern aus for the Odyssey set in a high school. where's the retelling where Odysseus is just a guy lost in an airport who keeps missing his connecting flights home due to a comical series of delays and disgruntled airline employees
