thinking about when superman tried to kiss wonder woman and she rejected him by saying “i come from an island of all women, work it out for yourself” 💀 absolutely rest in peace superman step aside for gay icon diana prince
Lokius and WonderCheetah are so incredibly Similar yet so different and I love them both and they deserve to be canon
Mobius “right where you left me” Mobius and Loki “champagne problems” Friggason. And youre gonna tell me that I’m wrong?
Oh noooo Lokius canon 👀 (now kiss)
He likes him 😬
YALL I JUST HAD A BRAIN BLAST MOMENT
Incredibly powerful witches (with green colour schemes for their first appearance and massive parental issues)-
And the dorky humans they're in love with-
When people are mad that the Loki show gave us bad rep it isn’t biphobic, what’s biphobic is the fact that marvel decided to do something problematic and tried to distract people by making a character come out just for marvel themselves to say they don’t plan on bringing it up ever again. the Loki show turned a characters identity into a throw away line and then fed into the stereotype of Bi and Genderfluid people dating themselves and the fact that the only queer character is in a relationship that is very similar to a step sibling type relationship, which is also a very fetishized queer stereotype.
also Loki shouldn’t have gotten a love interest in the first season to begin with, it’s so incredibly rushed, Male or Female, shouldn’t have happened in season 1.
Exactly. It's poor writing. I wish the writers could've written Loki better, in a way that didn't undo all of his personality in the past movies. This is a new MCU Loki which doesn't adhere to the previous Thor movies (which sucks!). This Loki has feelings, this Loki loves, this Loki is kind and sensitive. The writers had a good idea with making Loki more of a "loveable" character but they basically made him into an antihero moreso and I don't like that about the character. It is extreme queerbating, saying that Loki would have two love interests. Loki had no sort of romantic relationship with Mobius and I'd argue that he didn't have one with Sylvie either. It was so sudden and left me asking "what happened" after the kiss. Build up is supposed to make a romance obvious but buildup isn't even evident in the show. Loki was nice towards Sylvie but I definitely don't think this should've turned into a romantic relationship. A friendship would've been better, simpler. Not to mention that Loki never got a chance with Mobius 😭
exactly, and the scene they did with Loki and mobius (yes I’m talking about the tie scene and the sleeping scene) felt very queerbait, especially since they did scenes like that with the purpose of never having those two get together and blaming fans who could see it that way
Why, even ignoring the incest/self-cest, Sylki is still a terrible pairing
1. Sylvie is a terribly written character
Sylvie has virtually no personality outside of being a #girlboss Mary Sue. Her only purpose in the show is to be the “superior Loki” - she gets to be the badass while making Loki look like a blithering idiot by comparison. Even though this show is supposed to be centered around Loki, he does virtually nothing throughout the whole series, and Sylvie is the one they want us to be hyping around, even though we have no prior connection with her. For a creative team that claims to love Loki, they certainly seem to hate him.
2. Sylvie does not give a shit about Loki
If the writers of this show were trying to convince me that Sylvie at any point reciprocates Loki’s feelings for her, they did a terrible job of it, because I do not buy it for a SECOND. They have absolutely no chemistry whatsoever. Any time Loki tries to convey his feelings for her, Sylvie doesn’t look happy or in love. If anything, she just looks uncomfortable. Not to mention, in the scene where Loki gets pruned right in front of her, she has virtually no reaction at all. She isn’t sad or upset that Loki’s gone, because Loki was never a priority to her. She constantly belittles him, invalidates his trauma, and tells him to shut up when he tries to speak his mind. Any time Loki brings up his past, she immediately shuts him down because what she went through was sooooo much worse. That is not what Loki needs in a romantic partner. Loki needs someone who makes him feel valued and understood, not yet another character who uses every chance they get to treat him like shit. But apparently, the way she treats him is perfectly acceptable, because the writers want you to believe that Loki is nothing but a pompous narcissist who doesn’t deserve sympathy or respect and needs to be “put in his place.” The fact that they are trying to pass this off as a positive relationship feels, to me, like an example of the toxic brand of feminism where women push men around and invalidate their feelings in the name of “being progressive” instead of working with them to create an equitable environment for everyone.
3. The relationship is incredibly forced and rushed
We literally spend one 42-minute-long episode getting to know Sylvie before Loki suddenly decides, out of nowhere, that he’s in love with her. In a four-hour-long, six-episode show, that is not nearly enough time to develop a well-established relationship. And for a character like Loki, who they are trying to establish has trust issues, it seems ridiculous that he would allow himself to fall in love with someone and become that vulnerable around them after spending only a day with them. Keep in mind that this is 2012 Loki, a character who has just escaped the influence of the Black Order, where it was heavily implied that he was tortured and mind-controlled. He should be on his guard constantly and be wary of the idea of even being allies with anyone, much less falling in love with them.
Long story short, even if the incest/self-cest thing doesn’t make you uncomfortable, Sylki is still a shit pairing and a clear demonstration of how Kate Herron and Michael Waldron fundamentally do not understand or respect Loki’s character.

Hair bleach gets here the 11th, Paramore shirt comes in the 17th and school starts the 18th, your bitch is ready
I love the idea of Mobius’ best friends being Christine Scott and Clint cause on top of just amazing dynamics I can just see Clint and his history with Loki making it even better, “Tell your partner I still want him dead!” Or “if you two get married and I’m not best man Im gonna be very angry because you’re one of my closest friends and he’s tried to kill me before so I feel like you owe me that much” LIKE IMAGINE MOBIUS LEAVING CLINT AND LOKI IN A ROOM TOGETHER AND ITS JUST AWKWARD ASS SILENCE UNTIL HE RETURNS
if Mobius made friends outside of Loki he would definitely befriend Christine, Scott and Clint, I can also see him having some sort of fun parental bond with Peter and Shuri,
Loki about to punch a Mobius variant in s2 but then said Mobius variant says “that’s not how I see it..” and then Loki hugs (or kisses I’m not judging) him cause it’s his mobius
