do you think that when we dream, our consciousness is simply viewing a different reality? not shifting there but like peaking in. and those people that claim they have dreams of the future are really just dreaming our reality further in time. and thatâs why sometimes we dream whatever weâre thinking about right before we fall asleep, weâre basically thinking of where we want to go
idk just something i thought up while folding laundry lol
iâm finally making my ATYD playlist.. hereâs the description <3
currently thinking about how grant would celebrate Remusâ birthday alone today
- he would bake a cake and blow out the candles
- âEven if you were here, I would still have to blow your candles out for you cause oâ all those bloody fags you smoked. I always thought the fags would be the thing to getcha in the end...â
- A shoe box under his bed full of every letter Remus had ever wrote to him
- Grant reading though every single one, no matter how long it took him
- Him finally laying down for sleep and thinking Just wish someone would've told me how you went...
-Â âHappy Birthday Sweetheart.â
HAPPY BIRTHDAY REMUS JOHN LUPIN I LOVE YOU SO MUCHÂ
This is longer than I expected it to be but itâs worth it I promise.
-
7th year James, Lily, Remus, Peter and Sirius sitting around the common room. Lily and Remus on the carpet next to the fire; Sirius sprawled lazily across the sofa; James sitting on the chair tossing around the snitch; Peter sitting at the table doing homework â actually, doodling on some spare parchment and eating his secret stash of chocolates but the marauders didnât need to know that.
âRemusssss do you have a fag? I think iâm outâ Sirius wines from the couch, rudely interrupting Remus and Lilyâs conversation. âYes Sirius, I do.â He replied before turning back to Lily. âWell... Can I have one?!â Padfoot presses. Remus rolls his eyes, only giving Sirius the boredest of glances, âNo.â Lily snickers as the boy immediately continues their previous conversation as if there had been no interruption at all.
Sirius was just about to give up after a few minutes of trying to get Remusâ attention again when an idea struck him. One he thought was so brilliant and sure to get him a fag. âSee James, this is exactly why I only went for girls all those years!â He could see his boyfriends ears perk up, obviously listening. To his luck, James played along. âYeah, maybe we should go find some new girls who will actually pay attention to us Padfoot.â Lily glanced at him, unable to ignore the smirk plastered across his face. She gave Remus a look, asking him to join the game with her.
âWhat was that you said about girls, Padfoot?â He asked, not taking his eyes on the ginger girl in front of him. âThatâs none of your business Moony...â Sirius narrowed his eyes at Remus, trying to calculate his next move. âAnd James, darling, you said something about finding someone new... is that right?â Lily dared to move her gaze to James then to Remusâ lips. She looked up at his eyes, telling him it was his move. âN-Not exactly,â James had stopped tossing around his snitch as he noticed the space between Remus and Lily was getting progressively narrower. âIâve never really minded girls...â Moony said, just above a whisper. Although he was staring at Lily intensely, he could picture in his mind the way Sirius glanced from him to James, asking if they would actually do it. âHaving a werewolf around couldnât be so bad, now could it?â Lily Evans and Remus Lupin were so very close. Remus smirked as his fingertips traced her jawline, resting on her neck. With his thumb pressed to the bottom of her chin, Remus tilted the girls face up ever so slightly. Peter could hardly contain his laughter. Lily leaned almost completely in so they could feel each otherâs breath on their cheeks.
They were amazing actors, they were, Lily Evans and Remus Lupin. But choruses of âDONT YOU FUCKING DARE!â from Sirius and, âOKAY YOU WIN WE GET IT!â from James pushed them into a fit of giggles. Lily let her head fall into Remusâ shoulder as they laughed and laughed. Just as they collected themselves enough to glance at the, now standing, Sirius and James, they were thrown into another fit of laughter. The snitch had been completely ignored, buzzing around the common room. The pillow Sirius had been fiddling with was tossed to the other side of the room at some point. Both boys stood there scowling at the two friends as they laughed uncontrollably for long moments afterward.
Later, just before after they had all gotten up to go to their dorms, Peter gave Remus and Lily some chocolate for their âexcellent performanceâ. He also showed them a drawing he had made in the half hour after the incident. The common room, with a almost kissing Remus Lupin and Lily Evans and two boys standing straight with a look on their faces as if they might commit arson. âOh Peter this is amazing! Think we should frame it Remus?â Lily said, just barely containing her laughter. âHavenât got a frame, besides, I think it would be better on the marauders wall, donât you?â Peter said, tucking the drawing under his arm. âThatâs brilliant Wormtail! Right in the center!â Remus exclaimed. Sirius rolled his eyes, fighting a smile.
And so they pinned it up in the middle of the wall as Remus had said. Surrounded by prank ideas, doodles, notes, reminders, and anything else they wanted. It was a mess but it was theirs.
Just before Lily went to exit the boysâ dormitory, Remus kissed her hand, âGoodnight my love!â Sirius wasted no time in pulling Remusâ shoulder and dragging him back to their bed. âIâll see you tomorrow darling!â Lily called after him, dramatically. She had planned on sleeping in the girls dormitory that night but James grabbed her wrist gently, tugging her into his own bed. âI love you Lily Evans.â he whispered before kissing her forehead. âDonât tell Remus... but I love you too.â and so she kissed him.
Remus wrapped his arm around Siriusâ torso. âWhat would you do without me?â he asks as their fingers lace together. âI would definitely be more sane, thatâs for sure.â Sirius huffed. âI love you Padfoot.â âI love you too Moony.â He smiled and craned his neck to peck Remusâ lips. âDonât tell my girlfriend about us.â
itâs national toast day everyone...
I know this has been written many times before but just hear me out.
Remus Lupin on the train to hogwarts for the first time in a very long time. Heâs on his way to the place he used to call homeâhis safe haven. Except thereâs one thing missing- no, three things missing.
Remus Lupin drifting into sleep thinking about which corridors he must avoid in order to not remember them.
Remus Lupins dreamless sleep interrupted by a bone chilling freeze, no happiness, no joy, no maraudersâ
Remus Lupin jumping into action. âSirius Black is not here.â Merlin did it hurt to say that name. The name of his past lover, the name of the man who betrayed everyone he loved. Still, he had to cast the bright blue charm that he didnât think he would ever be able to cast again. The lights flicker back to life. He let out a sigh as the feeling of hope flooded him. The new professor turning immediately to tend to the students. What a lot they are. Two of the most freckled gingers he had ever laid eyes on; no doubt Molly and Arthurâs; When had he spoken to them last? It took him a second to realize who the brown haired one with the plant was but then he came to the sad realization that this was Alice and Frankâs son. The poor dear. Another girl.. he couldnât quite see her face, her long, bushy brown hair covered it and he realized she was on the floor. She was bending over someone. Another student.
Remus Lupin asking the girl to step aside so that he may tend to the other student. Remus held in a gasp. There he was. James Potter laying on the floor in the carriage that the marauders rode in every single year. âPRONGS!â he wanted to shout. Memories tried to rush through his head, fighting to come back but Remus wouldnât let them because after looking at the familiar boy for a second longer, he realized this was not James at all.
The boy looked like him, thatâs for sure. Not if you really looked though. This boy was skinnier, much, much skinnier than James was. Does he eat?? This boy had a scar in the shape of the curse that had killed Remus Lupin best friends. This boy was not James at all, Remus realized; it was Harry.
Then when Harry Potter came to, he looked at Remus with those big green eyes and oh my god Lily Evans. Remus let himself remember, just for a second. âIâve gone mad!â She had exclaimed one evening in the common room. âLily I really donât know why youâre making such a fuss-â âBecause itâs James Potter! James Potter, the boy who annoys me to death, the obnoxious and- and overly confident boy that I hate, itâs- its JAMESâ He held her gaze for a moment, until it was too much to bear. Remus had burst out laughing, Lily following suit.
âHere, eat this, youâll feel better.â Remus tried. He handed Harry a slab of chocolate just like he used to do with James after yet another rejection or a bad practice or a backfired prank.
âProfessor Lupinâ Harry calls him. Remus wanted so badly to correct him. âItâs Uncle Moony, Harry.â
Uncle Moony.
